You walk into school with your brother to hear constant whispering. People were huddled in groups, looking at something on their phones and talking about it.
"Did something happen?" You whisper to Zach, tugging on the sleeve of his letterman jacket.
"Hey, babe." Justin comes and gives you a brief kiss before holding up his phone. "Did you guys see this?" He shows you and Zach a picture of two girls making out on the bed but most couldn't exactly make out who the two girls were.
You stare at the picture and recognize the room as the spare room next to your bedroom. You recognized the vase next to the bed. It was something mom brought back from China.
"You're friends with a lot of girls, Jasmine. You probably know who it is!" Bryce says from behind you and Zach. You turn around to face him and he gives you a wink.
"That's hot man." Monty says, taking a closer look at the picture. "You know them, Jasmine?" He looks down to face you but you just give him a look.
"No." You lied. Of course you knew exactly who it was. You got ready with Hannah and not only did you let her borrow a pair of your jeans, you let her borrow a bralette.
"I think I know who took the picture though." You sigh, sharing a look with Zach. "I thought I told you to make sure he wouldn't go upstairs." You whisper-hissed at Zach so the others couldn't hear.
The boys talked amongst themselves about the picture and eventually Marcus and Alex joined. You seriously question the relationship between Jessica and Alex. You heard from someone that they were fighting at your party.
You brushed it off, not really caring about Jessica. You liked Alex but you weren't really close to him. You instead went in search for Hannah to talk about the circulating picture.
You quickly find her by her locker and quietly make your way to her. You didn't wanna attract attention and instead quietly greet her.
You cut to the chase, "Look, I know one of the girls is you. I'm not gonna tell anyone of course and not ask who it was but I am going to tell you who I think took the picture." You whisper.
"It was Courtney..." Hannah whispers, not making eye contact with you and continues to instead shuffle through her locker.
"I'm not judging because to be honest I really don't care. I just wanna tell you that I'm almost positive it was Tyler Downs. I saw him at my party and my brother told him off about taking pictures of me."
The whole ordeal wasn't really any of your business so you were a little shocked that Hannah told you who it was but you really truly didn't care who it was. It wasn't any of your business who she made out with anyway. You just wanted to tell her who took it so she could get some revenge if she really wanted to.
"So do whatever you want with the information. You either do something or you don't. But I'll tell you now, I'm gonna do something about. I won't bring you up." You nodded, trying to make eye contact with her so she could know you were telling the truth.
Hannah simply nods before saying, "I'll confront him about the picture eventually. But you do whatever you gotta do. And just don't tell anyone that it was her."
"Better talk to Courtney. That bitch will do anything to hide the fact that she's a lesbian." You slightly nod towards Courtney who was standing at her locker, glancing around as if waiting for someone to recognize it was her.
You walk away to go meet up with Justin before class but Hannah's shout for your attention stops you.
"Why are you helping me? Why aren't you telling everyone right now?" She gives you a curious look.
You shrug before answering. "I don't get anything from telling everyone. I'd rather have a nice excuse to beat up Downs with Monty." You wink playfully before turning around again and heading to your next class.
Hannah smiles a little at that. She had hope that things wouldn't escalate.
