"Huh, I didn't know they were even dating." You commented, munching on a bag of chips as you and Monty sat side by side somewhere behind the school where none of the teachers really checked.

You were scrolling through your Instagram feed when you saw a picture of Alex and Jessica. You barely knew either of them but obviously Jessica hated you but you were okay with Alex even though Justin seemed not to be.

"Jess and Alex? I think they started dating a little after Justin broke up with her." Monty thought for a bit before continuing, "weird thing is that I think both of them used to be friends with Hannah. Like a trio. But then I think they kinda just drifted."

Jasmine rolled her eyes, "That's what you THINK, Montgomery. You don't KNOW that's why they all stopped talking to each other."

"OH SHIT! WAIT!"

Jasmine nearly dropped her newly opened bag of Sour Patch Kids at Montgomery's outburst.

"Alex and Jessica hooked up before!" Montgomery said as if he just solved the world's hardest problem.

"Like before she was with Justin?"

"That's why they stopped talking! But then they broke up and then she dated Justin and now they're back together!" Montgomery nodded his head at the memory of how the group of jocks first got to know Jessica.

"So why is she back with Alex? Wasn't she hooking up with Bryce?" You recalled the time at the party where Jeff got into the accident. You saw her with Bryce in one of the rooms while you were on the way to the bathroom.

"Bryce hooks up with a lot of people." Montgomery shoved.

"You're not wrong about that! But I'm gonna attend my last period and then I have to go to cheer practice." You decide to head to class upon hearing the bell ring.

You leave Montgomery to ponder if he wanted to go to class or not and you headed to your own class.

You look down at your phone to see another offer for you back in SoCal about how someone wanted to have a photoshoot with you when you got back to SoCal. You sighed and began to write about how you weren't sure when you would be back.

Ever since you moved back to the small town of Crestmont you thought you would stop getting sponsorship requests and photoshoot or video-shoot requests. Back home you would often shoot videos promoting someone's product or photoshoots promoting clothing lines.

You were so lost in your thoughts that you accidentally ran into someone.

"I'm so sorry!" You immediately exclaim.

"It's okay, I was too in a rush to look where I was going."

You instantly see that it's Hannah and you give her a smile.

"Hey! How are you? Haven't been able to see and talk to you since the party."

Hannah immediately winces at the question. To her, you were a nice girl with a bitch side to those who you didn't like. She knew to be careful because of that plus Hannah had a very valid reason as to why Jasmine could hate her for the rest of her life.

She wanted to say everything wasn't fine and tell Jasmine everything but she went against the urge.

"I'm good! How are you doing?" Hannah opted for a tight lipped smile.

"I'm okay, but hey! We're throwing a party tomorrow, you should come! You get the first invite," Jasmine gave a teasing smile. "We haven't told everyone else yet."

You guys decided it was time to officially throw a party for your return, especially since you both know your mom won't be home for another week. Zach wanted to throw a party while you could.

"I don't know..." Hannah bit her lip, remembering what happened the last time she went to a party.

"Come over after school tomorrow! We can get ready together." You give her a sweet smile before continuing your walk to your last class.

Hannah panics at the realization that you were leaving and quickly called out to you.

But you simply turned around and gave her another smile.

"I'm not taking no for an answer! Meet up at the baseball field after school tomorrow!"
