~ Ally's POV ~
When Austin left, I cleaned up the rest of the living room. It took an hour or so. When I finished I got an apple and ran upstairs. Austin had texted me saying 'Come to my house NOW' He had just sent me that so I went over to his house and knocked on the door. Austin opened it and pulled me in. "Austin what the-" I started but stopped when I saw this blonde haired girl sitting on the couch. "Ally this is my step sister, Rydel!" he said. He didn't sound to happy. I nodded and pulled Austin into the kitchen. "Step sister?" I asked. He nodded. "You don't sound to happy about it" I said taking a bite out of my apple. "Shh!!!" he said. I rolled my eyes, "Ok ok" I said. Rydel came into the kitchen, "Oh am I interrupting-" she started but Austin cut her off. "Nope not at all" She nodded and grabbed a banana. "So who are you?" she asked me. "Im Ally" I said. She smiled and said, "Nice to meet you!" I smiled back and said, "You too" She asked me and Austin if we were dating and we looked at each other and shook our heads no. She giggled.
- THE NEXT DAY -
I woke up to my alarm clock beeping like crazy! I shut it off and rolled over. A few minutes later I heard my name. "Ally get up and get ready!!!" my mom yelled. I sighed and got up. I looked at myself in the mirror. My black eye was practically gone and I had a scar from the crash. My arms were getting better. I put on a cute outfit today. Some black leggings, a red and black tank top and black heels. I curled my hair and put makeup on. Not a lot but a little. I went downstairs and heard a car horn. I looked out the window and saw Austin in his car. I laughed and grabbed my backpack and headed for his car. "Hey Ally!" he said as I jumped into the car. "Hey Austin" I said. We started to drive away but I felt like we forgot something... or someone.
~ Rydel's POV ~
"AUSTIN WAIT! YOU FORGOT ME!" I yelled. Austin drove away with Ally and forgot me. I sighed and started to walk to school. I got there during what I think is 2nd period. I went into the office, "Hello I'm Rydel and I'm new here" I said. The lady at the front desk nodded and looked through some papers. "Oh Rydel, your Austin Moon's step sister right?" she asked. I nodded, "Ok well why are you late?" she asked me. I kinda lied and told her I missed the bus. She nodded and gave me my schedule. "2nd period is almost over so I will show you where your locker is" she said. I nodded and we went to my locker. She gave me my code and left me to put my books up. The bell rang and I saw Austin and Ally walking towards me. "Austin did you forget something or should I say someone this morning?" I asked. He sighed, "Sorry Im not used to having a step sister in the house!" he said. I sighed and nodded. "Do you guys know where Math is? I asked. They nodded and we went to Math. I found an empty seat and sat there.
Just then another new girl walked in the door. "Ah Maia nice of you to join us" the teacher said. She had long dark brown hair, a pink dress on and some light yellow heels on. "You can sit beside Rydel. Rydel raise your hand" the teacher said. I did what I was told and raised my hand. She came and sat beside me. "Hello Im Rydel!" I said. She smiled and replied in her Australian accent, "Im Maia Mitchell!" Just then Austin came over here. "Sup, Im Austin Moon" he said. I rolled my eyes. I could tell he was going to ask her out. "Maia, Maia Mitchell" Maia said. He smiled at her and said, "Do you wanna go on a date tonight?" He asked her. I was right! She smiled back at him and nodded yes. I felt bad for Ally cause I knew she liked him.
