~ Ally's POV ~
Me and Austin were kissing. I enjoyed it. But he was dating Maia. I pulled back and turned around. "Ally I'm-" he started but I cut him off. "Its fine but your with Maia" I said sighing. He sighed too, "I wanna be with you not Maia!" he said. "You chose Maia!!" I said. We went on and on until Rocky came up to me. "Who's this?" Austin asked. "Austin this is my cousin, Rocky. Rocky this is my... friend, Austin" I said introducing them. They talked for a few minutes until we heard the bell. We walked off to class. Rocky went with Maia to their first period and me and Austin went to our first period.
When class ended I went to my locker. I saw something out of the corner of my eyes and when I looked over, my mouth fell wide open. I saw Rocky and Maia kissing! They pulled apart and Maia noticed me. "Ally! Please don't tell Austin!" she said. "Tell me what?' Austin said walking up behind me. I looked at him and back at Maia and Rocky. They ran off and I started to walk away when Austin grabbed my arm. "What was that?" He asked. I shrugged. He rolled his eyes and I giggled. Lunch came and me and Maia were talking in the hall. "Does Rocky know about you and Austin?" I asked. She nodded. "Well why did y'all kiss?" I asked remembering mine and Austin's kiss. She sighed and said, "I don't know it just happened!" I nodded. We stopped talking when we saw Austin and Rocky hanging out. I pulled Rocky away from Austin and said, "Dont tell Austin about-" Rocky cut me off. "Dont worry I won't!" he said. I nodded and we went back to Austin. I felt my heart drop when I saw Austin and Maia kissing. Its like when Austin's around Maia, he's a totally different guy!
- LATER THAT NIGHT -
Me and Austin were hanging out at his place. "So what's up with you and Maia?" I asked looking up at him. "We are going on another date tomorrow" he said. I nodded and looked down. He sighed, "Ally, please don't be upset!" he said. "Why wouldn't I be upset? You chose Maia over me!" I said almost yelling. "She's amazing, smart, beautiful-" He started but I cut him off. "So what I'm not amazing or smart or beautiful?" I asked standing up actually yelling. He stood up and yelled to, "I didn't say that!!!" he said. I rolled my eyes, "Yea but you were thinking it!" I said. We keep fighting for a while till I decided to leave. I went and opened the door and started walking down the steps when Austin stopped me. "Where do you think your going?" he asked me. "Home!" I said. We were both still yelling. "Why?" he asked me. "CAUSE YOUR A JERK WHO BROKE MY HEART! AND I HATE YOU FOR THAT!" I started. "AND I NEVER WANNA SEE OR TALK TO YOU AGAIN!" I said. I was officially crying now and I ran to my house. I didn't look back at Austin. I didn't want to
~ Austin's POV ~
I had went inside after mine and Ally's big fight. I just thought and thought. I guess I am a big jerk. We really liked each other but I chose Maia over her. Ally's amazing, smart, kind and awesome! "Austin.." I heard someone say. I looked up to see Rydel. "Oh hey!" I said sighing. "Im so-" she started but I cut her off. "You don't have to be sorry! It's my fault!" I said. She sighed. I sighed too and went upstairs. I just laid on my bed thinking.
~ Ally's POV ~
I went inside and sat on the couch. I heard footsteps coming down the steps and I turned around to see Rocky. "Ally? What happened?" he asked me. I sighed in between crying. "Me and... and Aust- Austin had a... a um fight!" I said. I burst out in tears again. Rocky comforted me and after a while he said I should go get some rest. I did, well kinda. I went upstairs and just laid on my bed. I thought about everything that has happened over the past few days.
I woke up the next day in the clothes I had on yesterday. I guess I forgot to change last night. I got up and put on a totally different outfit. I put on a gray tank top, some jean shorts and some boots. I put my hair in a fishtail braid and went downstairs. Rocky was playing his guitar. He looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back and we left for school. I saw Austin and Maia kissing. They pulled apart and Austin saw me. He didn't move or anything. He leaned in and kissed Maia some more. I opened my locker and someone tapped my shoulder. It was Trish. "Ally I heard what happened! I'm so sorry!" she said. I sighed, "Don't be! We are just not you know meant to be I guess" I said. I wiped some tears away and saw Austin looking at me.
Four period was finally over and I rushed to my locker. I looked for the sheet music to a song I've been working on for a while. I started writing it when Austin and Maia started dating. I wanted to sing it in music class today cause I wanted to show Austin my pain and just cause its an amazing song. I couldn't find it in my binder or my book bag. I was starting to panic when I heard someone. "Looking for this?" I head someone say. I turned to see Rocky holding my sheet music. I laughed, "Yes, thank you!" He smiled and I went to fifth.
I went up to Mrs. Carlson. "Mrs. Carlson..." I started. She looked up and smiled. "I was wondering if I could sing this song I wrote?" I said. I gave her the sheet music and she smiled. "Of course Ally! This song is amazing! I will play the piano and you can sing!" she said. I smiled and took the music back and sat it on the piano. I set up the stage and waited for everyone to get into class. "Ok everyone! Ally Dawson will be performing this song she wrote herself. And I think you will like it" Mrs. Carlson said into the microphone. I went onto the stage and said a few words before I started singing. "Hey everyone! I wrote this song a few weeks ago when my used to be best friend broke my heart" I said. I turned to Mrs. Carlson who was at the piano waiting for me to give her a sign to start playing. I nodded and she turned to the keys. She started playing and I took a deep breath. I started to sing.
