When I finished everyone clapped but Austin. I smiled and went and sat back down. Austin turned to me and said, "That song was about me wasn't it?" I nodded and turned away from him. Just then the intercom went off. "Attention students! Sorry to interrupt your class but just so you know we do have a dance tonight. It will be at 4 so when school is over you have about an hour till the dance starts. Thank you!" the woman said over the intercom. I didn't want to go but I knew Rydel and Trish would make me.
When school ended, Rydel and Trish came to my house. "Ok so lets find you the perfect outfit for the dance!" Trish said. Her and Rydel went over to my closet and started looking through my dresses. When they were finished my whole floor was covered in dresses. I went and changed in the bathroom and when I finished I walked out. "Ally! You look amazing!" Rydel said. I looked in the mirror. I smiled. She was right I did look pretty good. I had this blue dress on and some golden heels. "Ok time for makeup and hair" Trish said. Rydel did my makeup and Trish did my hair. I looked amazing. Rydel went to her house and got dressed and we decided we would take Trish to her house so she could get ready right quick.
When we got to the dance there was already a lot of people there. I went up to Maia and she told me her and Austin broke up but she wasn't mad cause she wanted to date Rocky. I smiled at that news. Maia and Rocky made a good couple. I didn't know if me and Austin were still fighting I haven't talked to him since fifth period. Just then the lights dimmed and a light pointed to the stage. I heard someone speaking. "This song is to my best friend in the world, Ally Dawson!" the guy said. I turned and saw Austin up on stage. My eyes started to tear up. He smiled to me and started to sing.

When he finished singing I was crying with tears of joy. I ran up on stage and hugged him. We pulled apart and without thinking we leaned in and kissed. Everyone started clapping and we pulled apart and looked to the crowd. I smiled and we left the stage. The DJ started to play more music. "Austin! I cant believe you wrote that song for me!" I said. He smiled and I smiled back. "Are we friends now?" he asked. I shook my head no and he gave me a confused look. I laughed and said, "We are boyfriend and girlfriend!" He smiled at that and nodded. Just then Rocky, Maia, Dez, Trish and Rydel came up to us! We all talked and just enjoyed our night.
When we left we all decided to go to the beach. Tonight was perfect. I didn't want it to end. On the beach we all just sat, talked, and hung out. We were playing volleyball when we heard voices. We saw in the distance a light. "We need to hide!" Rydel whispered. We all went and hid in the Ice Cream truck. Rocky's dad had just bought a Ice Cream truck and gave Rocky a key in case of an emergency. I was totally freaking out. We stayed quite. We heard the voices get closer. When we realized who it was we sighed in relief. "Whos there?" the person asked. We all got out of the truck to see my parents. "Ally! You all scared us!" my mom said. We all laughed and me and Austin told my parents about us dating. So the rest of the night we played on the beach. This was the perfect time I have ever had. Hanging with my friends and family doing crazy and fun things on the beach.
