Words. 

Were Otabek's current enemy at the moment. He was known to be a man of few-words, the only person he most likely talked to was Yuri Plisetsky, his only friend. Somehow, and someway he became more speechless the day he met and saw you. 

Right now, you were sitting next to Otabek which was why he was having a battle with words. You two are so close to each other, he could even feel heat. Earphones shielding your ears from any other noise, eyes locked on the phone screen, thumb scrolling up while four fingers supported the back of your phone, your attention was all on your phone. 

Otabek didn't know what to say or do, he was lucky enough that your attention was locked on something, but for some reason he wanted to talk to you, but how? He can't even put two words together, even a single "hello" is a struggle for him. You two are friends, but don't really talk much, in fact you're the one who does most of the talking while he just nods in response. 




Surprising enough, he still can't believe you're with him, normally people wouldn't want to be with him, due to his stoic and serious appearance, but it was only you and Yuri that he showed his soft side, he smiles often, because he knows you like it when he does it. 

Being close and being friends just wasn't enough for him. He wanted more, it was unlike him to want more from you, but what can he do? His feelings are skyrocketing high. He wanted to say it, you are with him, nobody around to disturb you both, he opened his mouth a gape to call your name, but to no avail, words failed to come out. 

Sighing, and running a hand through his hair, he looked at you. His eyes captured every of your features. Just looking at you gives him a tint of happiness inside of him, he couldn't believe that you got him feeling like this. It was frustrating, he will admit, you were like his favorite teddy bear that he wants to get so badly even if it means he has to work hard for it. The way you got to him to smile was really a surprise to him. Usually it would take him time to smile, but you did it in a second. Which made him fall for you. 

Oh, the things he would do, just to tell you how he feels. 

He tried thinking of ways to tell you,  writing a letter? no, it was too cliche.  Since you did love music, and he is a DJ, he thought of making a song, but then it hit him, he doesn't know how. Words alone are a real struggle to him. You love all of the routines his done, so he thought of making one for you, but then he realized, he'd be a real mess if he showed it to you. True enough he may not seem like to show a lot of emotion, but when it comes to you, he's a wreck. 

He was running out of ideas, he thought of buying you ice cream while he tell you how he feels, but he knows you'll be too entranced with the frozen dessert than to listen to what he has to say.
