Later that day, during the evening, Liam announced that he and Kianni will be staying for the night. Every so often, they stay in Liam's old bedroom and Mr and Mrs Hemmings have no problem with this, because, after all, they are adults, and it is just a bed.
Liam got their bags from his car and took them upstairs, while his mum made the bed. Luke stood by, with his earbuds in his ears, listening to Nirvana.
"Hey Luke, can you go get the tissue box from the hall closet?" His mum asked. Luke didn't hear.
"Luke!" He still couldn't hear her, so she stepped in front of him and waved a hand in front of his face.
He jerked up. "Wh-what?"
"Please go get a tissue box from the hall closet, will you?"
"Ok." He walked to the closet, while singing to Lithium.
He rummaged through the closet until he found a tissue box, then handed it to his mother. He went to his room and shut the door.
The time was 9:25. May still be early, but Luke was tired. He took his earbuds out and then got ready for bed. After he brushed his teeth, he ran into Liam in the hall.
"Hey Luke."
"Hi." He mumbled, looking down.
"Going to sleep this early? We were going to watch a movie..."
"Don't want to." And he pushed by Liam, shutting then locking his door.

Luke woke up a bit too early that morning. Everyone was still asleep as he trudged through the hall. But right outside Liam's door was something.
A strange plastic, silver packet.
It wasn't that big in size, probably only 3 inches or so across. Luke picked it up and examined it. What is this? he wondered.
Carefully, he ripped it open. Something made of latex was inside. He pulled it out. It was an odd ring with the material attached to it. He poked his finger through the hole, and it stretched. Could it be a balloon?
No it can't possibly be a balloon because it was long, not round. Luke shrugged. He will ask Liam later what it is.
He placed it on his desk, then walked to the bathroom. He turned the hot water on, and stripped of his clothes, then stepped in. The hot water soothed his tense muscles and relaxed him.
He changed into a Pierce The Veil shirt and dark blue skinny jeans, then put on his converse. He quickly combed his wet hair, not caring about how messy it looked.
Luke flopped onto the bed and laid there, staring at the ceiling. He thought about school, music, and his family. He didn't know how long he stayed on his bed, but he was then snapped out of his thoughts by a sudden bang in the kitchen.
He ran downstairs and there was Liam, in nothing but boxers, with his hair looking anything but neat. By him were a whole bunch of pots and pans.
"Sorry to have woken you up." sighed Liam. "I was going to make breakfast, but someone stashed all these pans here, so they fell out when I opened the door." he laughed. "I'm still gonna make the breakfast, would you like to help?"
Luke was the last one who unloaded the dishwasher, so he knew it was him. He didn't say that though. I mean, it doesn't really matter, does it? It was just him stacking them too near the door.
"Ok." He replied.
"Great." Liam smiled, and carefully placed the pots and pans back in, though he left the two big ones out.
