Chapter 12: Be Mine?

I sat there in shock about what I said. Oh my fucking god Anna, why can't you tell him that sooner!?! I just shook my head and sat up straight.

"I'm sorry if what I said came out-"

Just when I was about to finish my sentence, Ethan interrupted me by smashing his soft lips into mine. Everytime we kiss, there's always that feeling of fireworks going off on the fourth of July. I felt Ethan pulling me down onto my bed without pulling away from each other. I ended up being on top of him as we were making out on my bed. We eventually pulled away to catch each others breath. I stared into Ethan's eyes as Ethan played with my hair.

"I feel the same way Anna" he said.

My heart is probably beating out of my chest when he said that. This is what love feels like. I lay my head onto Ethan's chest listening to his heartbeat until we both heard my mom calling us down for dinner. I got off of Ethan and we both went downstairs into the dining room. We helped my mom and Dylan with setting the table and bringing in the food. As we ate our food, we had a conversation about school and our plans for Thanksgiving.

"So how's the tutoring session going?" my mom asked.

"We're currently on a break for tutoring since we just finished our last test before break" I told her.

"We're just now hanging out with each other" Ethan said.

He put his arm around my shoulders just to show my mom that we get along well.

"Aww that's great that you two get along so good" my mom said.

Ethan and I both smiled. I guess my mother has gotten our approval.

As soon as 7:45p.m rolled around, Ethan and I walked to his house since he had to be home by 8. We walked with our hands intertwining and swinging them back and forth until we reached his house. Before my foot reaches the porch step, Ethan stops me and turns me around.

"Anna, I just wanna say that ever since I first saw you freshman year of high school, I couldn't stop thinking about you. Whenever I see you in the hallways or in Pre Calc, I just look at you because I think that you're the most beautiful girl that I've ever seen in my life."

Now that explains why he kept staring at me that day. I just looked down at the ground with my face turing bright red. I felt Ethan's fingers on my chin cause me to look up to him.

"Annalisa Watson, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked me.

I couldn't resist but to nod my head and blurt out my answer.

"Yes Ethan Dolan. I will be your girlfriend"

Ethan's smiled really big and wide. He pulls me in for a hug and spins me around causing me to giggle. He sets me down and leans in to kiss me until we heard the sound of the front door opening. I turned around to see Lisa standing at the doorway.

"Oh hi Anna. Would you like to stay for a little bit?" she asked me.

"I would love you but my mom is probably waiting for me back home" I told her.

"Ok. Ethan you coming in"

"Yeah mom. I'll be inside in a little bit" he said.

"Alright honey" she said before shutting her door.

Ethan turned back to me and kissed my cheek.

"I'll text you later ok?" he asked me.

I nodded my head in response and he pecked my lips.

"Bye Ethan" I said.

"Bye beautiful" Ethan said before walking into his house.

I arrived home to see Dylan on the couch playing on his PS4.

"Sup bro" I said once I sat down on his couch.

"Hey sis" he said.

It was all complete silence. Dylan turned off his PS4 and brought his attention to me.

"So you and Ethan huh?" he said and nudged me.

"Yeah so?" I asked.

"Well I was just wondering if you two are a thing?" he asked me.

I felt hesitant for a little bit. Ethan and I just got into a relationship and my brother is the first one to know about this.

"Yes. He actually asked me to his girlfriend when we were walking to his house" I told him.

"You definately like him do you?" Dylan asked me.

I smiled and nodded. To be honest, I really do love Ethan. He just makes me happy and he just puts a smlie on my face. I feel happy that I found someone who I can call the love of my life.

"I'm glad that my sister found someone who can make her happy" he said.

Dylan and I did our handshake. I'm so glad to have an older brother who supports me through thick and thin.

"Thanks Bro" I said.

"No problem sis"

I went up to my room and got changed into a T-Shirt and sweatpants. After I got changed, my phone made a "ding" noise which is telling me that I got a notification. I checked my phone to see that Ethan texted me.

Ethan: Hey beautiful 😘

Me: Hey handsome😊❤

All through the night, Ethan and I texted non stop until 1am. I couldn't be more happier to have Ethan in my life right now and I hope this relationship gets even more better for us.
