Chapter 22: Scared of Loosing

   The next day rolls around. Lately, I've tried to get yesterday out of my mind. I couldn't even sleep last night just thinking about what went down with my best friend and her "boyfriend" lying to me and Ethan this whole time. Why would they do this to us? Why would they fake a relationship? I'm not even gonna worry about that now and just figure it out later.

   I shut my locker door shut and began walking to my first period class until someone stopped me.

   "Anna" a voice said.

   I turned to see someone who I don't wanna see right now.

   "What do you want Grace?" I asked her with an angry look on my face.

   "Look Anna, I'm sorry that Grayson and I lied to you. It's just that-"

   "No Grace. It's just nothing. You two have been lying to us all this time and it's bullshit" I interrupted her.

   "WELL IT'S BULLSHIT THAT YOU STOLE ETHAN FROM ME!"

   My face was filled with confusion. Why would she think that? She supported me and Ethan and now she's saying that I stole him from her.

   "Grace, what are you talking about?" I asked.

   She sighs and raises her hands up in surrender.

   "Fine. I have a crush on your boyfriend and every since you started dating him, I started to get jealous. That's why I fake dated Grayson just to get you jealous. Are ya happy now?".

   "Well that's too bad Grace. Ethan loves me and I love him".

    Grace didn't say anything. I waited for her to respond back but she ended up tackling me to the ground. I felt heat rising onto my cheek realizing that she slapped me. I got super pissed off and punched her in the face. A large crowd of students gathered around Grace and I as we kept punching and slapping each other on the school floor.

   "Girls" a angry voice said.

  
   Grace and I stopped and looked up to see the principal staring strictly down at us.

   "Both of you to my office! Everyone else go to class!" He said.

   We both stood up and followed the principal to his office. Grace and I walked in and sat down in the two chairs that were in front of the principal's desk.

   "Now explain why you two were having a hissy fit in the hallway" he said in a serious tone.

   "IT WAS HER FAULT!" Grace and I both said pointing to each other.

   We both looked at each other with disagreement on our faces. We all know that it was Grace who started this whole mess with all of her shitty lies.

   "Ladies whoever started it or didn't, you both will be receiving detention tomorrow by cleaning the school tables".

   I cringed when he said that. The school tables have always been so dirty every lunch. There would always be crumbs, condiments, and drink spills on the tables and some students never took care of the accident and clean it up. Now, it's gonna be me cleaning that hell of a mess tomorrow afternoon.

   "Are we clear on that ladies?" He asked us.

   Grace and I both nodded and we were excused to go to class. We both gave each other dirty looks before going our separate ways to class.

     "So wait Grace has a crush on me?" Ethan asked.

   We were taking a study break for one of our Pre Calc tests and I told him about what happened. I nodded in response and he looked at me with a disgusted look on his face.

   "Oh god" he said.

   "Ha right! And then we fought,cause a scene and both recieved detention tomorrow" I said.

   "Does your mom know?" Ethan asked.

   "Only Dylan knows thankfully and he's picking me up afterwards".

    I suddenly felt a tear go down my cheek. Ethan came over to me and wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

   "Are you ok beautiful?" He asked me in a soft voice.

   I shook my head no as it was on Ethan's chest. He pulled me closer to him and he arms wrapped around me tighter as my head rested onto his chest.

   "I'm scared" I said.

   "Of what?" He asked me.

   I looked up at him with a sad look on my face.

  "Of loosing you"

   That's really true. One of my biggest fears is loosing someone who I love. That's why I was a mess when I found out that my mom was diagnosed with cancer. I really don't wanna loose my mom. She has been apart of my life for sixteen years now and I just wanna be with her and have some more time with her for the best. As for Ethan, he has become someone who I wanna be with in the near future. Someday, I'll be walking down the aisle in a long white dress while looking at him in a tuxedo. I wanna grow a family with Ethan and die happy together one day. But for now, we have each other to go through the mess that we're both going through right now.

   Ethan caressed my cheek and gave me a small kiss on my lips. We both pulled away with our foreheads resting while looking into each other's eyes.

   "I'm not going anywhere princess. I'll never leave you" he said.

   "Promise?" I asked.

   "Promise".

I'm really sorry for the boring chapter and for not posting on Sunday. I'm currently visiting familt atm so if i posted late then that's why.

I promise you guys that there will be more upcoming chapters that will be exciting.
