The group was sitting in the library when Tina ran in hastily with Melissa.
"GUYSWENEEDTOTHROWASURPRISPARTYFORAMY!!!!!!!!!!!!" Melissa yelled.
The first one to agree was Mason.
"Of coarse. I'll do anything for yo-- I MEAN AMY!! Ya Amy."
" You don't even like Amy." Tina said, flatly.
" Shut up ya 8th grade wannabe." Mason told her, icily.
" How do you expect to throw a party by today?" Mike asked.
" We just need to decorate the Gym with Harley Quinn, pop dolls, and video games and we're all set." Tina told them.
" What if Amy finds out?" Nicky asked.
" She won't-", Tina told him." Because you are gonna keep her distracted."
" No I won't." He said sternly.
" You will." Melissa whispered. " Unless you would like the whole school to know that you like Lila. And by the way, you could do better."
" You wouldn't." Nicky said, with a hint of fear in his voice.
" Try us Powers." Tina said, calmly.
" Ya, I'll go distract her."
Right as he left, Melissa caught the groups attention. " Lets by started."
Meanwhile, Nicky was on his way to distract Amy.
How am I gonna do this, He thought on her way over to her locker.
There is no way I can distract her., He thought when he finally saw her. Here goes.
" Hey Amy!" Nicky said friendly like. " How's life?"
" I'm doing great Nick. How was your day? What's your favorite color? Have you ever thought about getting married and not to stupid Lila but someone else?"
" Um." Nicky started. " Lets walk to the auditorium."
" Why?" She asked.
" Because it's a free country."
They walked until they finally got to the auditorium, Nicky opened the door and started saying" Surpi--" his friends gave him looks to stop.
" Wait, what's on there?" Amy asked.
" Nothing."
But just as Amy opened the door, Nicky did the only think he could think of to not let her see.

The doors swung open and everyone saw. There was an awkward moment of silence before Mike said. " Happy Birthday Amy!"
" Um thanks guys." Amy started, still in shock." But my birthday was yesterday."
Everyone gave Melissa and Tina cold glances.
Melissa sighed and said." So we're not gonna talk about what the heck just happened.
