'Well, praise the Graeds. That was deep.'
'I know, huh?'
'So, she gave you the "fist"?' Emzhell asked.
I nodded.
We were in A2, ice, in one of my favourite hiding places, down a crevace, beneath the snow.
'Wow.' She muttered. 'I wonder why though. Like, you didn't kill her family, did y- Oh.' She stopped when she saw my face.
'She thinks I'm weak-'
'Because you regret killing a baby?' She interrupted. 'That's not weak! That is... well, I don't know what it is, but it's good. Very good.'
I smiled at her.
'It's really strange though, isn't it? She lived off her mother for years, it's weird.'
'Yup, it looked so freaky too, drow babies are never that hairy, are they?'
I shook my head. 'Let's just leave it be. Sam, or I for that matter, doesn't need any more drama. I think I have enough drama to last a lifetime.'
'Totally'

'Aimeeee?!' I called into the trees. 'Aaaimeee!'
'She's not here.' Said a voice behind me.
I turned around to see Ciana standing there.
'Where is she, then?' I asked her.
'Well, from what she told me...' she paused. 'She said she didn't want to meet you and she would prefer be with anyone else right now.'
I knew that Aimee said no such thing but I couldn't get that feeling out of my stomach that maybe she was right.
'She didn't.' I said, not believing myself.
'Ha!' She scoffed.'Even you don't believe yourself!'
She took a step closer to me.
'But if you need someone to talk to...' she curled her finger around my hair.
'No!' I shouted, and pulled away.
But deep down, I knew I did.
