The Arrangement

Leo: *walks into the Goldstein headquarters, and opens the door to Klaus' office* Klaus?

Klaus: *smiles at him* Afternoon Leonardo. What can I do for you?

Leo: I need a favor. *sits in a chair*

Klaus: What type of favor?

Leo: I need some of your guards. It would only be for a short while.

Klaus: Why would you need more guards? Don't you have enough as it is?

Leo: To protect my base and other businesses but not enough to protect my family. Another mafia boss just rose up and I fear that my calvary isn't enough. It would only be a few guards. You have a surplus.

Klaus: True, but I can't just give you my guards. We need a deal of some sort.

Leo: What type of deal?

Klaus: A marriage. To combine our families. Then that new boss wouldn't even dare to look in the same direction as your family

Leo: Oh. Well, who would be married? The only single people in my family are my two little sisters and they would never wanna randomly marry someone.

Klaus: I realized that. Choose one of them and I will choose one of my sons, then our families will be united and everyone will be protected, understood?

Leo: I can't do that to them. I may be their big brother but I don't have the right to choose who they marry.

Klaus: Well considering that I'm the only other mafia boss that isn't harsh enough to kill for my sons to have a bride, I think that's the best choice you have. It's just how things work in this business.

Leo: I realize that but it's their future. Wendy just started going somewhere with her singing and GG is doing great in the science department.

Klaus: Marriage doesn't mean the end of either of those things. My sons are understanding men and they wouldn't take something away that your sisters enjoyed.

Leo: *sighs and shakes his head lightly* Alright. I'll bring Wendy by your manor at two o'clock tomorrow. She won't put up too much of a fight against this.

Klaus: *smiles and nods* I'll order some guards and other faculty to go by your office later to discuss their work.

Leo: *nods and shakes Klaus's hand* Thank you Klaus. You're a true friend.

Klaus: No problem Leonardo.

Leo: *walks out of the room and building*

Wendy: This is bullshit!

Leo: This is not bullshit. This is how deals work in this day and age.

Wendy: Deals work by you marrying me off?!

Leo: This specific one does.

Wendy: Well why can't GG do it?!

Leo: Because she pulls her weight in this family. You just sing at one of my bars.

Wendy: *growls* You're such an ass! *runs into her room and slams the door shut*

Leo: *sighs and massages his temple* That girl....

Leo: Wendy, come on! We're gonna be late!

Wendy: Hold on! *puts on her dress before walking downstairs*

Leo: Can you at least put on some make up?

Wendy: Let me think about it. *grabs her chin* Hmmm. No.

Leo: *sighs and facepalms* Can you not be a brat today? This is really important for the family.

Wendy: *scoffs* Let's just get this over with. I just wanna meet my "fiance" and actually know who I'm being forced to marry. *walks over to the limo before climbing in*

Leo: *sighs and follows her, mumbling* This is going to be fun *climbs into the limo*

~at the Goldstein Mansion~

Guards: *escorts Leo and Wendy into the living room* Mr. Goldstein and his son will be here soon.

Leo: Thank you.

Guard: *nods and walks out of the room*

Wendy: There is a lot of family artwork here.

-The walls of the room are covered in family portraits from generations of the Goldstein families throughout the years-

Leo: Wendy hush. Just sit down and be quiet until you are spoken to, okay?

Wendy: *sits down and mumbles* Okay, dad.

Leo: *sits next to her* Good. And don't call me dad, young lady.

Wendy: *scoffs and crosses her arms* You sure are a buzzkill today.

Klaus: *walks in with one of his sons* Afternoon Leonardo. *extends his hand*

Leo: *shakes it* Evening Klaus. It's great to see you again.

Klaus: *smiles* Great to see you too. *motions to his son* This is my son, Oliver. Oliver, say hello to Leonardo and his little sister, Wendy.

Oliver: *bows* Hello Mr. Hamato. And hello Wendy. *winks at her*

Wensy: *groans under her breath*

Klaus: *sits down with Oliver* So, you want Wendy to marry Oliver to finalize our deal?

Leo: Yes. She has fully agreed to do so and won't cause any problems. Right Wendy?

Wendy: Yes, I have fully agreed to it. *whispers to herself* Reluctantly.

Klaus: *nods* Great. We can have the wedding in a month. Is that alright with you Leonardo?

Leo: *nods and smiles* It's fine with me.

Klaus: *lightly smiles* Good. Oliver, is there anything you would like to add?

Oliver: Well.....could we go on a date? I want to get to know my fiance. *smirks at Wendy*

Leo: I don't see why not. Does next week sound good?

Oliver: Sounds perfect~ *winks at her*

Wendy: *scoffs and looks away* This is so stupid.

Oliver: Get used to this stupidity doll face~

Leo: *chuckles softly* They're already fighting like a married couple.

Wendy: *punches Leo in the arm*

Leo: *winces and holds his arm* Jeez kid.

Wendy: I'm not a child.

Leo: *think to himself* Yet you constantly act like one.
