From far away
I was captivated
By that distinct shape
Lustered softly
In a man's sleeve
I was staring at it
Longer than I'd imagined
Like some laser pointed
That you would not dare
To look away from it
As my attention drifted
And stopped at the man's eyes
I saw contentment in it
I saw passion within, in fact
I even saw grief flashed through it
I was taken back, I was confused
But, I continued to stare
And give attentive look
Only to notice
In his white tuxedo
A dashing red rose
That catches my soul
Only to realize that,
The man's breast
Is bleeding continuously
Without minding the pain,
Smiling
Without noticing the shame,
Breathing
And without feeling the ache,
Still Loving
