Chapter 5

Me and Jaquan just stare at each other in a mean way. I mean i dont understand why he got mad at me in the first place! Like can he not take a joke ??? But anyways hes not what I thought he was , well i should've known cus he is a thug , but whatever. Then all of a sudden my phone started to ring so i take it out of my pocket and it says Angelina, i answer it.

Me: hello?
Angelina: hey girly!(:
Me: hey wassup?
While me and Angelina was talkin on the phone he starts askin me questions i couldn't hear what she was tryna say so i put my hand in his face tellin him to shutup. Then all of a sudden he takes my phone and throws it on the ground.

Me: what is wrong with you?!
Jaquan: need to lower yo voice! Dont ever answer the phone while im talkin to you!
Me: whatever. 
Jaquan: what i told u bout sayin that?
Me: not to say it.. But
Jaquan: but nothin! You do as i *GCO*

There was a knock on the door, i ran downstairs to go see who it was, lawd knows i had to look through the window and guess who I saw! The police... Why they here? So i open up the door.

Me: hi officer, umm is there a problem?
Police: yes mam , are you the owner of the house?
Me: umm no im just visiting, this is my boyfriends house
Police: well can i speak to him?
Me: yes sir, hold on

I run upstairs to go get Jaquan and told him who was at the door, he seemed all nervous when I told him. So he walks downstairs with the police.

Jaquan: whats the problem?
Police: son, is your mother home?
Jaquan: nah, she on a trip with her friends, left me in charge, whats the problem?
Police: someone called in for a complaint, said they heard a lot of screaming and there was a gun involved. Whats goin on?
Jaquan: juss a lil argument, nun serious.
Police: what about the gun?
Jaquan: i wasnt gone shoot nobody, the thing wasnt even loaded!
Police: i should arrest u right now for using guns and weapons under age, but I'm not.
Jaquan: how u know im too young?!
Police: * shows paper * have a good day JAQUAN! ion wanna hear nun else bout you. * closes the door *

I run downstairs cus i heard the door close, i feel bad for what I did kinda cus i caused all this. What if i got him in trouble?????

Me: what happened?
Jaquan: he said he should've arrested me but he didnt, who called in for a complaint?
Me: that nosy lady across the street!
Jaquan: she need to mind her own business

I walk out the door to go talk to that lady cus she was wrong for gettin all in our business, she looked familiar but i cant remember where i seen her. Anyways i go up to her front door, bang on it and she finally opens it.

RL: hello
Me: yeah hi, did u call the cops?
RL: i saw what happened but i didnt call the cops, my daughter did.
Me: you look really familiar! Who's your daughter?
RL: Angelina rouse. You know her?

I gave the lady a blank stare. Why would Angelina call the police knowing that Jaquan could've got arrested for pulling out a weapon? OMG i cant believe this!

Mrs rouse: you ok?
Me: yes ma'am umm did u tell her what happened?
Mrs rouse: no, after u told me everything was fine i went back in the house and minded my own business, i was gonna call the police but i never heard a gunshot so i didnt.
Me: can I talk to Angelina?
Mrs rouse: sure... ANGELINAAAA, SOMEONE NEEDS TO TALK TO U!!!!!!

Angelina runs to the door all happy, I should knock that smile off her face all up in my business like she a investigator and shit!
Angelina: hey girly! I called u earlier but i guess we lost connection?
Me: cut the small talk Angelina! Why did u call the cops?
Angelina: i saw him pull a gun out on u, duh
Me: why were u watching us? Were u outside?
Angelina: nope i was in my room looking out my window.
Me: okay but if u were paying really close attention you would've saw that me and him went back in the house and he never fired the gun, so why would u call the cops if nun really happened?
Angelina: look i thought u were in trouble, my bad for tryna help u out
She tries to close the door but i stop it with my foot.
Me: Well if you wanna help me? Stay the fuck out my business. PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

And with that being said i walked away! You know what ion even wanna go to the party tonight. SCREW IT! Lemme go back to Jaquan house to get my phone, i need my mama fr! She aint never home when i need her, this gonna be a long weekend. So i walk back to Jaquan house and ask him about my phone so i could get out of there and go home.

Me: where's my phone?
Jaquan: over there? * points * u finna go?
Me: yea
Jaquan: iight * starts getting his gun collection out *
Me: what are u doin?
Jaquan: me and Davonte Robbin tomorrow
Me: let me go before i be done said somethin * walks outside and gets in the car *

Is this boy serious?! He wanna go rob a store. Yeah i should've listened to my mama cus ion like where this goin, I might end up gettin hurt. I have nobody to talk to! Me and Angelina basically aren't friends anymore and if i tell my mom whats going on she'll kill me and possibly not let me out the house nomore, i gotta tell somebody! So i go home and call Angelina cus i wanna know what really went down.

Angelina: hello?
Me: hey Angelina its me, Stacey. Why did u really do that?
Angelina: look guh im yo friend! Why is this even an argument?! I was in my room on the phone with my friend, my window was up then all of a sudden i heard yelling so i looked out and saw it was u and Jaquan. I thought to myself maybe they just arguing! So i ignored it, next thing i know yaull got louder so i looked out the window again and i saw him pull a gun out on u. So i called the police.
Me: whyyyyy!
Angelina: I JUST SAT THERE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO U! AND TOLD U WHILE U WAS AT MY DOOR! I DIDNT WANT U TO GET HURT! Now if u think i did something wrong! Im sorry. But i know i did the right thing and plus when I saw the cops walking away from the house he didnt have Jaquan in handcuffs
Me: true u do have a point, ion know why I got mad frfr.
Angelina: wanna come over? I need to talk to u about something
Me: sure, on my way!
