I got up the next morning and did my usual routine of putting my clothes on, eating breakfast, and brushing my teeth. While I was downstairs having a bowl of cereal ,which by the way I'm shocked we don't make apple cereal ,my mom walked down the stairs in her pink robe and pajamas. She walked into the kitchen and started making herself a cup of coffee.

"How can you stand that stuff?" I asked with disgust. She gave me a small smile and replied.

"I don't know. I just do I guess. Why do you like milk so much?"

"Ha I just do." I got up out of my seat and put my bowl and glass in the sink, ran over to kiss mom on the cheek, and ran out the door. I had to walk a block to get to the bus stop. I couldn't wait 'till i drove but my mom isn't the richest woman in the world. Sure she owned one of those antique shops ,but there were tons of those. After about a minute or two the bus finally arrived and when it stopped I got on.

Once on ,I headed towards my regular seat at the back of the bus. And where she normally sat ,was Melody.

"It's here it's here. It's finally here Kora. Can you believe it."

"Yes, yes I can. I heard their music playing last night before I went to bed." When I said this she wiggled in her seat like a little kid with no patience.

"You look like you need to go pee." I said jokingly. Unfortunetly though she shot me an angry look. Melody took things to seriously sometimes ,but she could be really scary. Even for a smart girl.

"Sorry. It was just a joke." The look was replaced with a smile. The bus stopped and when it did I realized something. This is where the populars get picked up. Not that they all met at the same bus stop location ,but because the fact that they all lived in the rich district of  town. They're parents co-owned the apple orchard that funds this town. So in a way ,they're our mayors.

First up is Madelyn Foster. She is head cheerleader.......and lead bitch. Next is Jade Sparrow ,who is just as popular and mean ,but not as rude. Then there's Stark Garland who is the football star. He's the biggest man whore you will ever meet in your life. And last but not least Kirk Mclann. Surprisingly he's not as... dimwitted as them but can still be stuck-up. They're called the Perfect Apples. Which ,by the way, is the gayest name I've ever heard in my life. There are multiple other populars but they still don't amount to much compared to the Perfect apples . And not to spread rumors but I'm pretty sure each one of them have a certain type of STD.

They walked through the bus like it was a fucking run-way. No surprise there though. Madelyn past me and gave me her snide smile like she always does. Jade looked at me and instantly focused on something else. That's better than her making my day miserable. Stark was too busy surfing the bus for his next Sunday pass-time. You'd think the girls would know by now that he's a total douche-bag. Guess their desperate. Then Kirk walked by ,looked at me ,and gave me a smile. I looked to Melody if she saw that ,and when I saw her face ,something told me she did.

"Oh my gosh. Did Kirk just smile at you?"

"Yeah but it's no big deal. They're assholes Melody. You can't trust a single one of them." She rolled her eyes and looked outside the bus window.

School dragged on like usual. The only thing I'm looking forward to is a no-school day....and lunch. I was starving. Once lunch started I went down the hallway to meet Melody near the cafeteria. Then I heard a bunch of familiar voices behind me. I turned around to find the Perfect Apples. I locked eyes with Madelyn and she gave me another nasty look ,so I quickly faced forward. I started walking faster but it didn't get anywhere ,because apparently Madelyn wanted something.

"Um ,excuse me? You're in my way." She spat. I stopped immediately and she ran into me. I turned around ready to slap her.

"Hey! You bitch!" She said angrily. I just stood there and didn't say a thing. She raised her eyebrows in anger and I could tell she was extremely impatient. And when I opened my mouth I made it worse.

"Look here. I am NOT going to take you'r crap. So you just walk your prissy, little self down this hallway." She didn't like the sound of that. Not at all. She got straight in my face. Our noses were barely touching and the smell of Juicy Couture Perfume clogged my nose.

"You better watch you'r back. Our families own this town. So unless you want you're mothers money magica-"

"You keep my mother out of this! Or I swear I make sure theres a missing report for YOU'R stupid ass tomorrow. Got it." She instantly stepped back and looked to her friends behind her. They looked to her and then to me. All with the face of worry. Madelyn turned around and flipped her red hair over her shoulder ,and walked away. Like slaves ,so did the rest. Again the last to follow was Kirk and he stopped and gave me a blank look.

"Are you coming, Kirk?" Madelyn asked unpatiently ,not really liking the fact he was next to me. I looked to her and back to him. He mouthed the words "I'm sorry" and left. He met up with Madelyn and she turned around and gave me the glare of death. Thank god Melody had prepared me for looks like that ,or I would have fainted.

I finally met Melody in the cafeteria and I felt eyes on me like ice. She gave me a questioning as did I and she nodded her head to behind me. I looked to where she was nodding ,and found that Madelyn and her friends were all watching me.

"What's with all the dirty looks?"

"Oh nothing. Just got in an arguement." She widened her eyes ,as if I had just told her I was dieing.

"You did WHAT!?" She semi-yelled.

"It's nothing. I just want to get through this day quickly."

"Do you know what you've done? You've basically committed suicide. They're parents are-"

"I know who they're parents are ,Melody. I'm not stupid. Besides what will her parents do? And what will she tell them? " Mmmooooommm, dddddaaaddd. A girl was walking and I was being a bitch and purposely ran into her."" I said trying to mimic Madelyn. Melody tryed not to laugh but she couldn't help it. I was dead on. She had no right to be upset. It was her who started the whole thing anyway by threatning my mom.

"I know but still. You don't know how her parents are. Maybe they're just as rude." Again Melody had a point.

"Whatever. I just want to go through this day without talking to her. Then we can go to Amusement Rally tomorrow. Okay?" With the mention of Amusement Rally she smiled and basially forgot of the recent events.

This time instead of going home I started heading to where the carnival was located. Blossam Park. I could tell some kids were going to do the same thing. Considering that's all that was exciting around here. This town was obsessed with the carnival. Along the walk there I saw the Perfect Apples head to Dairy Queen like they do everyday after school. I felt that icey stare again and it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. I continued walking because really ,I didn't want to deal with anything.

Today was a windy day ,so it was colder out. Finally I got to Blossam Park. I looked at all the attractions being set up. Something was out of place though. I counted them all and there was one more. I didn't know if I could get closer ,so I decided to get a better view. When I found a better spot I scanned it to see what it was. They had it partially set up so I was able to make out some of it. It was a fun house. Well then theres something to look forward to. It's funny to know how wrong I was.
