Dating Headcanons (Prime)

Are they bots? Are they human?

(Probably a tad bit of both)

I don't know if anyone's caught on yet but I put a kind of embarrassing one at the end for everybody so even if you don't like that character you can read it if you want to see something a little funny about them!

Cons

Knockout

• Doesn't like anything unless it's name brand, but if you buy him something expensive he chastises you for spending your money on him
• Buys you really thoughtful gifts then pretends he didn't, even though you caught him putting it there
• Likes to dress you up in fancy clothes, and will always have better eyeliner than you
• LOVES it when you fall asleep on his chest while he plays with your hair
• If you ever offer to wash/wax him he will complain the ENTIRE time even though it feels really nice, if you're kind enough to offer again he doesn't say one word his engine just purrs really really loudly
• He snores

Breakdown

• So many cuddles oh my gosh, always hugging you or picking you up, never wants to put you down, let's you sit on his shoulders all the time
• Wants to take you everywhere, saw something cool and he wanted to show you, didn't realize it wasn't slightly ridiculous to drive for thirty miles just to show you a cool rock he found on the side of the road
• Calls you to see how you're doing at LEAST three times a day
• Constantly says I love you, he wants you to know you're loved and appreciated at all times
• Likes to show off his body to you, tons of pictures all the time, you don't know where he got the camera from
• Calls you silly nicknames that make you blush
• Definitely has a rock/stick/pebble collection

Bots

Ratchet

• Listen someone's got to take care of this old bot and that someone is you
• Dating Ratchet would probably be a lot like dating a cat, they're both grumpy and all they want to do is sleep even though he never sleeps and you have to drag him to bed
• If you're interested he'll tell you all about being a medic, but I wouldn't get him started on Cybertron, because he gets this really far away look when he talks about it with a really big smile on his face, but it fades when he thinks about his planet being gone and that he's stuck here on earth
• If you get hurt he insists that he has to fix you up, he'll take especially good care of you and then he'll kiss it better and send you on your way, you do the same to him when he gets hurt, even though you usually have to coerce him to even admit his has an injury
• He LOVES talking to you he will talk to you for hours about anything under the sun, it's his absolutely favorite thing to do
• Likes taking you to more upscale but kind of casual at the same time restaurants were you can enjoy the atmosphere and just talk without the kids interrupting
• Once you two are serious he just buys you really expensive things all the time seriously he won't stop
• Feeds the stray cats outside even though he knows he's not supposed to shh don't tell anyone

Optimus Prime

• Likes to take you out driving to look at the stars while explaining the constellations
• Doesn't really enjoy PDA in front of him team, anywhere else is fine
• Once took you on a surprise trip to Iceland via ground bridge and watched the northern lights with you, its his favorite things he's done on earth so far
• If you ask he'll tell you about Cybertron and Megatronus and how much he misses it, he'll tell you the good, the bad, and all the ugly that went on, but he'll always end it on being happy that earth welcomed them and that he's happy he can call it home, that he can call you home
• Tries to be supportive of human games and culture, sometimes if your feeling cheeky you can tell him about pretend earth customs (like if someone has a beard you have to great them with a high five) it's funny until you notice how hard he tries to politely accomplish everything you tell him
• Wears an inflatable tube and floaties whenever he goes to the pool/ocean even though he's an excellent swimmer just cause he can (he secretly like to embarrass the team)

Smokescreen

• Learns about breakdancing and wants you two to take a class on it, he's actually surprisingly good at it, also wants to take every dancing class there is, the waltz, the samba, he's all over it
• Classic romance boy, chocolates, red roses, the whole thing he loves it, likes dressing up for about all of five minuets though so good luck keeping him in a tie and dress pants
• The kind of boy your parents love without realizing what a trouble maker he is
• Consistently gets speeding tickets trying to impress you
• Is actually surprisingly down to earth, he wants to hear about your day and will help you deal with your problems whenever you come home
• Complains about not being appreciated but will instantly perk up whenever you suggest you two do something fun
• Once showed up to your house in overalls because he thought he looked cute in them
• Sometimes forgets that he bought you flowers and give you wilted ones a day or two later with a sheepish smile on his face

Wheeljack

• Has a trillion different nicknames for you but will internally cry if you call him one
• Babe hold my Capri Sun Miko just bet me that I couldn't do two flips and then nosedive and pull up just before hitting the ground and I'm going to prove her so wrong! You: *incomprehensible screaming* Wheeljack: *laughing*
• Spending so much time on the Jackhammer it's practically a second home
• He will wear jean shorts when cleaning the Jackhammer, the more you try to talk him out of it the more he does it
• Constant jokes always, also smirking, also he's always got his arm around you, whether it's your shoulder or around your middle he loves to hold you there, he's also as warm as a furnace like seriously
• Likes to take you around earth and sit with you and lay down and just breathe while looking at the sunset for a few minutes before lightening the mood with a joke or two before it gets to serious, he's not great at emotions
• If you're worried about if he's ever gonna leave again you just have to bring it up to him because he'll put all his energy into making you feel better because he's not going anywhere doll, not as long as he has anything to say about it
• Has a drawer on the Jackhammer completely devoted to Deadpool comic

Bumblebee

• Video games every single night, hope you like COD and staying up later then you should
• He hogs all the blankets and when you steal them all back he apologizes and as soon as he's back asleep he steals them again, now you both have your own blankets
• Wants to do everything under the sun with you, especially art-y stuff, painting, origami, even coloring books he loves anything as long as he gets to do it with you
• His idea of a perfect date is going to the arcade then the fair and winning you a ton of stuff at the game booths before falling asleep on the couch with you sleeping on him while watching Shanghai Noon
• Likes to go to library to look at comic books and look for new things to do on the activities board and half the time you have to tell him that they're mostly meant for kids and you can't just show up it says 12 and under right there babe
• If he's a mech you know automatically what he's saying (he's like the Tardis I don't know how or why but he is) but if he's human you communicate in ASL
• Wants to show you all the new tricks he learned on his skateboard
• Loves cowboys so much you don't even understand
