A Mistake?

I pulled away from the kiss, regretting it after

"I-I uhh..." I stuttered

To be honest that kiss was amazing

"I'm sorry, I'm so so so so so sorry! I shouldn't have don that. It was a mistake!" He said quickly

My face dropped

A mistake? A stupid mistake?

"I really should be going, before my mom worries.." He said and left quickly

It was a mistake, a mistake?

Did he feel bad for me or something? Is that why he kissed me?

I kept on thinking, thinking about what had happened, and soon enough I looked at the clock

7:30 am

Great, I've been sitting here for hours thinking about a mistake

I still can't wrap my head around that.

A mistake?

Lou should be waking up soon, and James is at his girlfriend's house, so he won't be here for a while

I sighed and got up heading to the kitchen

I started to make bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausage, and a lot of other things, the boys would be here in an hour

Every Sunday they all come over to my house, I make a huge breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we pig out and we watch movies all day

"What time is it?" A voice groaned

"Here you go.." I handed him Advil and a glass of water "It's 8:00 now, the boys will be here in half an hour.." I smiled softly

"Is Niall coming too?" He asked sitting on the chair next to me

My face dropped, I got so into cooking I completely forgot about him

"What's wrong?" He asked me

"N-nothing." I said and continued cooking

"Erica, I'm you're best friend, you can tell me anything.." Lou said

"I know, it's nothing really! I promise, I'm fine.." I told him

"Are you sure?" He asked knowing me too well

I nodded and gave him my best fake smile

He wasn't convinced, but he dropped it

Why am I so stuck up on Niall? It's not like I liked him..

"Yes, you do.." My stupid subconscious said, but I'm too naive to listen to her

I heard knock at the door, Lou groaned in pain from his hang over, and I jumped up to answer

I wonder why they didn't just come in? They usually always do

I opened the door and greeted the "Guys, you know you can ju- oh, uhh. Hi Maura?" I said

"Hello dear!" She smiled and hugged me, I hugged her back

"How are you, Maura?" I smiled

"I'm a little worried dear, Niall seems so upset, I was wondering what may have happened, I remember the last thing that happened last night he came storming in and when I asked he said something about a mistake going to your house? Is everything alright?" She asked

"I guess, last night he kissed me and then he said it was a mistake.." I sighed

"Oh honey! Why are you upset about it?" She asked

"Because I think I like him.." I sighed again

"Really!" I nodded "That's great! He'll be so happy! You are all he ever talks about, I can't wait for him to-" "No no no! He can't find out Maura! I'm sorry, he made it clear it was a mistake.." I said sadly

"Oh dear, he didn't mean it, I know my son. He was probably just embarrassed or unsure how you felt.." She smiled

"I don't know Maura, I would like him to say it, but I know I'm just getting my hopes up.." I sighed again

I heard a car door slam and saw 3 boys running up to my house

"Good morning Erica, Hi Muara!!" Liam said kissing my cheek going inside

"G'morning, love, Hello Maura!" Harry said kissing my forehead and following Liam

"Good morning sweet Erica, Hello Maura!" Zayn said kissing my nose and walking inside with a smile

"Are you two dating?" She asked

"Me and Niall?" I asked

"No, you and that boy, Zayn?" She asked

"What? No! No! Oh no. He's like my brother, I could never!" I laughed

"Oh, okay! I'm sorry! It just seemed like he likes you!" She laughed at herself

"Nope, all four of them are just like my brothers.." I smiled

"How is that one boy who got drunk?" She asked with a giggle

"He's doing fine actually, thank you for not kicking us out!" I smiled

"It was the highlight of my night seeing Louis stumble about!' She grinned

We talked a little note and said our good bye's and she left

I walked into the kitchen and smelt something burning

"WHAT DID YOU LOT DO!" I screamed and ran to the stove

"Harry tried making pan cakes but he can't make them as good as you!" Lou fake pouted

"Awe! Thank you guys! But if you don't clean this up I will chop off your ba-" "OI! Okay! It will be cleaned!" Liam said and hurried to get cleaning

"Well?" I smirked at Lou, Harry, and Zayn

They all gave me worried looks and got cleaning
