Phone Call from the Devil

"H-hello?" I stuttered

"Where the hell are you." She snapped

"I'm at a friends.." I said calmly

Niall took my phone and put it on speaker

"WHO GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO LEAVE?!" My mom screamed/ slurred at me

"You did.." I whispered softly, I didn't think she heard me, but I was wrong

"OH YEAH? WHEN?!" She seethed

"You told me to leave!" I began to cry

"Where are you at! I'm coming to get you! You are in big trouble!!" She yelled

"I told you I'm at a friend's house.." I choked

"I bet you're at that Harry kid's place! Aren't you!?"

I didn't say anything

"Well little girl, expect the cops to be there! They'll show ya! And when you get home.." I hung up the phone, I couldn't take it anymore, I stated sobbing

"Hey, hey, hey, what's wrong, love?" Niall asked hugging me

"I'm going to die!" I whaled

"No you're not! Don't say that!" He tried to help me stop crying, it didn't work

"No Niall, you don't understand. I'm literally going to die! She's gonna kill me!" I cried even harder

"How?" He asked seriously, did he just not hear her on the phone? My mom plus alcohol equals beatings, mix that with anger and you have my death

"She's gonna call the cops, she'll cry wolf! She'll say I ran away and then she'll give herself bruises and say that they were from me!" I cried harder, if that was even possible, "a-and then, then she'll hurt me even more! And she'll get away with it! She always does! Because I don't tell them anything! I have to protect my family! I already lost 2 brothers! I can't lose anymore!" I sobbed

"No, nothing will happen to you or your brothers! When the cops do get here you're going to tell them what she does to you, exactly what she does, from the verbal abuse to the physical abuse. They have to believe you! We'll take her to court! She won't get away with anything.." He said rubbing my back

"Thank you Niall, but I can't do that.." I sniffled, his touch soothing me somehow

"Yes you can, think of it this way. You will be a hero to your brothers. Little and older! Maybe you'll even be reunited with Clay and Henry! I'm not letting my princess be hurt anymore... And.. if you don't, th-then I will!" Niall decided

I gasped, is he serious!?

"Y-you would turn my mother in?!" I asked shocked

"You've been through enough. The boys and your brothers would agree with me. She's out of control! No offense but my mom and brother even thinks so.. They have since Matthew and James told them about her.. You don't deserve this. Nobody does!" Niall told me "Shes your mother, yes, but love, she can't get away with this.." He said kissing my cheek

"I-I guess you're right..." I mumbled, maybe things will be okay for once

"So you'll do it?" He asked

"Mhm, I'll do it.. But because if I don't, who knows what will happen.." I sniffled again

"That 'a girl!" He praised "Now c'mon, let's get you cleaned up.." He took me into the bathroom
