Today was Saturday and it was Niall's block party

The boys were over my house and we're were watching 'My Idiot Brother' the movie, and waiting till it was time to go to Niall's

"What kind of food do you think he'll have?" I asked

They all looked at me

"What?" I questioned

"That is exactly what Niall sounds like.." Lou said smiling

The boys hung out with Niall after I bolted from school and they became good mates.. I guess

"Stop smiling, I'll kick you in the face." I threatened

"Do it!" He challenged

"Oh really?" I stood up in front of him

"Woah woah woah, no violence ladies." Zayn pulled me down on his lap

Lou gave him a fake death glare and we all laughed

"No seriously though what kind of food is there going to be, I'm hungry cause someone ate all my chips!" I glared at Liam

"Don't look at me, I told you to get 8 bags instead of 4!" He laughed

"Why am I your friend, let alone best friend, how'd we even become friends actually, we hated each other when we were little.." I laughed at the memory

*FLASHBACK*

"Erica, put on the dress and lets go." My mom warned 10 year old me

"But, mom! It's pink and its a dress! Why do I have to wear a stupid dress?!" I said angerly

"Well too bad! Mr. Payne is your father's friend and he invited us to dinner. He has a son your age and you need to look nice!" She yelled back

"Mom!" I said annoyed still

"NOW!" She roared

"Fine.." I huffed

"Straighten out your dress." She said and dad knocked on the door

I looked at my dad and frowned

"It's okay, Pumpkin, it will all be over soon, we can go home an get ice cream." He whispered and cheered me up

I smiled and the door opened

"Hello Rick!" The man shook daddy's hand

"Mrs. Quinn.." He nodded

"And you must be Erica.. I am Mr. Payne, Liam, my son who is your age, is in the play room, you can join them while your parents and I have grown up talk." Mr. Payne patted my head

I glared at him and walk into the play room

There was a boy with brown hair siting and drawing

He looked up at me and frowned

"Why are you wearing a dress." He remarked

"Because my mom forced me too. Why are you so ugly?" I snickered back remembering what my brothers had taught me to say when someone said mean things to me

"That wasn't very nice." He pouted

"I really don't care." I said back and sat down

"I hate you..' he said slowly

"You don't even know me.."

"I hate girls, they have COOTIES!"

"I'll give you a kiss and turn you into a girl.." I smirked

"EWWWWWW COOTIESSSSSSSSS!" He yelled and ran out of them room

*END OF FLASHBACK*

"The only reason why we are friends is because we were forced to be together all the time." I lied and gave him a look to tell him to go along with it

He knows the truth to why we are friends. The boys don't

"I know!" He gave me a reassuring look

"I still can't believe you gave me cooties.." He joked

"ANNNNDDD you were so bitchy!" He laughed again

"You were so wimpy! I beat you up all the time!" I smiled back

"You still do that!" He remarked

"I miss being little.." I sighed

"Well if we hadn't grown up, we all wouldn't have met, and non of us would be friends." Zayn said and lifted me off his lap

"You do have a point.." I said and we all got up

"Lets go to the party now, its 9 already.." Harry said and we all walked out the door

"You knock ." Liam nudged me

"Uh no. Zayn you can do it." I said and smiled

"No, I'm good. Harry?" Zayn smiled and Harry shook his head

"God, you all are babies.." Lou groaned and knocked on the door

"Hey lads.." He shook their hands

"Erica." Niall smiled and hugged me

"Hello." We all said

"Come in, food and drinks are in the kitchen, and everyone else is out back in the pool or just hanging on the deck." Niall smiled and let us in

We thanked him and we all parted ways

I went into the kitchen to go get a drink of water

When I walked into the huge space there was a woman by the sink

"Oops, I'm sorry.." I said and started to turn around 

"Oh, no, no it's fine.. I'm just a little over whelmed by all my new neighbors, who might you be, dear?' she asked me

"I'm Erica.." I said and smiled

"Ohhh! Erica! I heard a lot about you, I'm Maura, Niall's mom.." She winked and I gave her a questioned look

"Oh.. I'm sorry. He always talk about you. I was just assuming.. Oh my.. Sorry.." She kept apologizing

"No no, its alright!" I laughed

"Oh alright, just forget I said that.." She flushed

"I'm assuming your brothers had told you my apologies and that you can come here at anytime..?" She questioned 

"Oh yes yes, thank you by the way.. It means a lot." I smiled

"No problem dear.. Really. If anything ever happens, just knock on my door." She smiled

"Thank-" "I CAN FLYYYYYY!" An all too familiar drunk voice screamed from outside cutting me off

"What was that?" She asked

"Za-" "ERICA LOU'S DRUNK AGAIN!" The boys screamed cutting me off again

"I'll just be a moment.." I laughed and left to go get my drunk friend
