you know how one day you just stop showering.

you stop and forget to brush your teeth, maybe your hair as well.

and then that becomes a few days, then it becomes routine.

you lose taste and forget to eat.

everything tastes like mashed potatoes so why try eating things you liked anyway?

the spoon is too heavy to lift to your lips.

your mouth is sewed shut in an unintentional frown.

too heavy to open /

/ too heavy to close.

never wanting to get out of bed.

not even anxiety can push you to do things.

maybe you'll try rolling.

maybe you'll drag yourself out to the bathroom.

or maybe you'll just sleep 16 hours again.

who cares anyway?

nothing matters.
