~JLA~
Diana rolled her eyes as Tony dragged on. She could smell the displeasing stench of alcohol across his breath. The little man had no respect for any women with dignity. She could not understand how that red headed woman stood at his side all night without punching him. Bruce had informed her about this man who claimed to be some big shot hero for publicity sack. He had not an ounce of integrity about him. She couldn't help but get annoyed after a while. Her hands clenched as he called the waitress around him desertful names. That was it. She took a deep breath before turning to Bruce. "I think, going to take- " A glass shattering across the floor averts her gaze, causing her to pause mid-sentence. Oliver and some waiter were in a full scale bar fight. Olivier had some orange liquid substance smeared against his shirt as the waiter punched him in the jaw.
"Stop it!" The girl Oliver found glared at both of the men, however they were too distracted with one another to note. In the corner of her eye she saw a reporter duck under the velvet rope, Clark. Diana tugged on Bruce's shirt, hinting they too should go over to check it out.
He understood completely, "I'm sure this vegas story has an amusing punchline Tony but it seems I have other matters to attend to. Pardon me, Mrs. Pots." Bruce politely, leads us away from the couple. Oliver had gotten himself into some mess, glass was shattered all of the place. Blood dripped down the waiters face by the time Diana and Bruce reached them Clark, Dinah and the other redhead girl were trying to break the two apart.
Kent had rushed over as quickly as possible, his super hearing had picked up the whole fight. Clark knew the whole mess started when Dinah began to flirt with the waiter in an effort to get back at Oliver. It only went downhill from there, becoming a full scale egoistic battle between the two men.
"You take that back!" Oliver broke another glass over the waiter's head, making him stumble backwards. Clark pulled Oliver's hands behind his back, trying to get him to stop. His voice whispered lowly in his friends ear. "You need to calm down, you're bringing a lot of unwanted attention on yourself."
"Are you okay?" Dinah asked, turning to the bartender. He seemed to take the blow well, a little too well for an average server if you'd asked Bruce. A normal, untrained man couldn't take that much injury. The way the guy stood on his feet was definitely military. The detective seemed to be getting suspicious about the whole incident.
"I'm fine no thanks to this bastard." The waiter huffed, dusting himself off as if it was nothing.
Bruce's noticed Oliver's date glaring at the waiter when she thought no one was looking. He knew that look all too well. It was the look someone got if they botched a mission. "What is going on here? " Bruce asked the men, not expecting the truth but needed a place to start digging. Much to his dismay, the two men were too focused on having a heated exchange of words to answer him.
"You better take that back!" Oliver drunkenly stumbled forward. Clark remained to have a firm grip on him.
"Why should I?" The waiter broke free from Dinah's grip, punching Olivier in the jaw. The two began to go at it again.
Now Diana had to force herself between the two. She kept her calm, separating both men. The amazon gave them both a scolding look. "Boys." She muttered, pushing them both away. " I think it would be best if you two separate them." Bruce and Clark give a small nod to each other before pulling them in separate directions.
The back room for the bar was musty and cramped. Bruce paused, taking one look to made sure there was no glass or things that could be used as a possible weapon around before speaking. He did not trust this man. His expression remained without any emotion, so the stranger would not be clued into the distrust he had for him. In this light it was easier to confirm what he early suspected. Not once had he seen this man which was odd for Bruce knew all his servers by name. Background checks were personally conducted by Mr. Wayne himself. "What's your name sir?"
