Natasha and Clint were sprinting across the roof. A way out was supposed to be awaiting them close by. Both assassins hardly let their heels hit the ground for they needed to move quick or else be in deep trouble. Mr.Wayne had cracked Clint's alias and would soon be waking up to notify the authorities of their intrusion. S.H.I.E.L.D was not a trustworthy organization anymore, since it was found that Hydra laid at its core. She was pissed Barton had gotten himself into such a childish brawl with their target in the first place. A little more time and Oliver Queen could have revealed the whole League to her. Now they were stuck with the limited knowledge the had. The brief insight she gained from a short conversation she upheld with Mr.Queen. His actions were messy, a rookie move on Clint's part. "What the hell was that?" Her russian accent slipped out as she snarled at him.

He put his hands up in defense, acting like this wasn't all his fault. "Don't blame me, he threw the first punch."

Natasha rolled her eyes, he couldn't possibly be serious about that excuse. He needed to control his emotions better and stay in line. Men. "He wasn't the one that blew our cover." Pushing aside a piece of her hair, Natasha spoke sternly in her ear piece."Stark, our cover has been blown. Stark? Do you copy?" No response came from the coms but that didn't make her nervous. Natasha could hear the faint sound of music. On the other side of the com Tony was drunk out of his mind, partying it away with the latest socialites.

"Guess it's just us two." Clint interrupted, trying to start a conversation with her again.

Natasha and Clint were closing in on the drop site were the helicarrier should have been. A large black jet hovered over the building, appearing out of camouflage mode.

"Right on time Cap." Nat smirked, climbing onto the plane. Her first movement was to grab the co-pilot headphones and slip them over her ears. No way she was going to let Clint take that job and he knew it.

"Captain," Barton gave a small nod before moving towards the back of the ship. "Hasn't it been awhile since you flew one of these things?" Clint tried to ease tensions by teasing him. Everyone knew a crashed plane was the reason Steve was still around here. It was obvious Captain America was annoyed at his joke as well as Natasha but he tried to play it off as if it didn't matter anymore.

"What, would your rather have Banner up here?" Steve retorted making Natasha grin.

"Touché." Clint buckles up, sealing the belt tightly against his body just in case of turbulence. Who knew if the Captain could operate this technology?

The rest of the flight was dead silent. No joking, no playful banter, only silence.

Banner eye's trailed up to the window as Thor continued to talk. The past hour and a half Bruce's attempts at explaining how the Star Wars movies were not real, only a fiction filled movie to the God of Thunder were utter useless. His stubbornness had no end, repeatedly insisting that he would like to congratulate Luke, son of Skywalker. Bruce leaned back in his chair, his eyelids growing heavy at the shakespearean language Thor used. Maybe he should have went to the party with Tony. Captain had left a little over an hour ago, anytime now they should be back, Banner thought to himself.
A sleek black jet circled around the building a few times before landing on the very top of Stark Towers. After the battle of New York Stark re-built his skyscraper, creating the place even better then before. The genius transformed the top 10 floors into an official Avengers HQ instead of R&D.

The three broke in the room, staying silent. Right away Banner could see the tension and wondered what had happened. Captain gave him a small shrug, as if to say he had no clue what was going on between the two. Banner held up a hand, pausing the discussion Thor carried on despite the entrance of their companions. Beneath his circular glasses he watched as Clint made a beeline for the bar. The archer grabbed two beers which one could assume the other was for Natalie. It glided across the table into the black widow's hands, opening with a pop. Banner wondered if the mission was a success or not. He could never tell by their expressions. "Did you get it?" He spoke, strolling over for the electronic screen before adding, "Where's stark?"
