Don't Break Me

Chapter 23

Justin's POV:

My eyes fluttered open slowly as I let out a deep yawn. I felt a tight grip around my rib area. I turned my eyes to see what was gripping me but was shocked to see a muscular tattooed arm around me. I looked around the room quickly as the sun shun through the cracks of the window. Then it all came to me, I was still in Jason's house. I started to panic a little and tried to wiggle free from his grip, but every time that I would loosen his grip and try to move away from him, he would pull me back into his embrace tightly. I felt his breath crash against the back of my neck which sent shivers down my spine. Visions of all the bad memories and dreams that I have had about Jason swarmed my mind. I started to take quick short breaths and felt my stomach turning. I needed to get away from him and get fresh air. I tried harder to break away from his grip and put all my force into it. I began to kick my feet around and pull at his arm with my hands. I wriggled my whole body back and forth and finally managed to break free from him. I turned out of bed and rose to my feet quickly hoping to slip out of the room and house as quickly and quietly as I possibly could.

Just as I turned around I heard movement and soft groans coming from behind me. I froze not wanting to turn to face him. Maybe if I act like a statue he won't notice me?

"Mmm... Good morning," I heard Jason speak in his raspy voice. I must admit, it was kind of a turn on to hear his voice first thing in the morning. "Where are you going to?" He continued grabbing my hand from behind and pulling it so I had to turn and face him. Jason lay shirtless in his bed with the blankets down past his sweat pants. His hair was messy and his face looked tired, yet gorgeous. The sun that shun through the window bounced off of his smooth tanned skin. His muscles were prominent and all of his tattoos wrapped around his body and muscles perfectly. I licked my lips and dropped my mouth wide open as I just stood there staring at Jason. He must have noticed this because he laughed to himself pulling me back into his body. My body shivered as I felt his warm body wrap around mine in a hug.

"Like what you see huh?" He spoke running a hand through my hair. I nodded my head knowing that I wouldn't be able to speak. I felt a lump form in my throat and so many emotions ran through my body. Jason leaned in close to me and placed a soft kiss on my forehead. "So what do you want to do today?"

I closed and eyes and thought about what to do. I felt a little more comfortable than I did when I first woke up, however, I still feel like Jason is just playing me like some sick game. I mean, can someone who has been as evil as him change overnight? I don't think so. Even if he is being serious, I don't think I can ever forgive him.

I felt a nudge in my side and opened my eyes to meet Jason's. I knew he was waiting for me to reply to him. Out of nowhere I just had remembered that today was Monday which means I am supposed to be at school. My body went into panic mode as I have never missed a day of school. I always have perfect attendance. My mum is going to kill me when she finds out.

"S-s-school," I managed to stutter out trying to continue the sentence. He looked at me confused to what I said. "J-Jason w-we m-missed..." I said trying to catch my breath. Anxiety was starting to take over my mind and I knew this was a serious deal. "I c-can't m-miss i-it." I finished in a panic trying to take control back over my body. I heard Jason letting out small giggles. Is he serious laughing at this? Missing school is the worst thing I could do.

"Justin calm down," he spoke between laughing, "It is just school, no big deal." He said now laughing a lot harder. Is he being serious right now? How could he be laughing?

"N-not f-funny," I stuttered annoyed at how he was treating this.

"I miss school all the time, it is okay Justin really. I can in sick for you?" He asked noticing I wasn't finding this funny.
