Justin's POV:

I stared right into the eyes of him and sighed a breath of relief when I saw Sam, however, I was still on edge about this whole situation. I just had this feeling that something bad was going to happen, but I couldn't tell what. Everything started to add up in my head about Jason and what Sam had said on the phone made me think more and more about it. I had more trust in Sam then I did in Jason, which confirmed to me that something went down between the two. I had no doubts that Jason was out to get Sam and I thoroughly believed that I was somehow apart of that plan.

I gestured for Sam to come in with a weak smile, feeling weird that we were meeting up inside of Jason's house. Speaking of Jason, he sent his message over two hours ago which made me think even more so that he was up to something. Don't get me wrong, I really hoped I was wrong and that everything would work out to be okay, but knowing my life, it won't. I lead the way for both Sam and I to talk in the lounge, where it was dark and where we would be able to see if Jason was coming back.

I took a lounge and turned to face Sam who sat next to me. He looked uneasy and concerned. His eyes showed stress, his hair was a complete mess and it looked like he had been up for days. He sent me a weak smile before taking one of my hands into his. I noticed that he took a deep breath and looked down to the ground sadly.

"W-what's w-wrong?" I asked shakily as I took my hand and gently rubbed across his back. He hummed in reply before looking up to me with sadness evident in his expression.

"Justin... I..." he let out a deep breath not being able to maintain his eye contact with me. I tugged at his hand lightly and patted his back trying my best to let him know it was going to be okay.

"I know it isn't really my business, but uh...." He paused whilst mumbling under his breath.

"I-it's o-okay S-Sam," I stuttered gently continuing to rub his back.

"Jason," He said sternly, sucking in his bottom lip and scrunching up his nose. I furrowed my eyebrows when he said Jason's name, curious to what has happened. "He isn't who you think he is Justin. I know what he is capable of and I know what game he plays." My expression dropped instantly as my thoughts were pretty much confirmed.

"W-what h-happened?" I asked nervously, not really wanting to hear the truth because it will make me feel like such a gullible idiot. I could tell that Sam was visibly shaken without even saying anything.

"Justin I know for a fact that it was him who left those notes for me," he said straight forwardly. I felt my heart hurt at his words, as Jason promised me that he had nothing to do with that. He lied straight to my face.

"H-how?" I asked curiously. Sam eyes shot open quickly before returning to their normal size.

"Uh well, when you were gone from school for that week, his friend Ryan told me the truth about it all. I have been meaning to tell you for some time, except you only just got a phone and Jason has always been around you lately." I felt tears starting to build up in my eyes. I knew that Jason was more than capable of being that guy and he is just with me to destroy me completely. I dropped my head and felt the tears start to fall down my cheeks.

Sam pulled me in for a tight, but comforting hug. I slumped against his chest and just let the tears begin to fall at their own pace. My breathing became irregular and hitched as I started to shake under Sam's grasp.

"I'm sorry Justin, I'll stop there okay?" He calmly whispered against my ear.

"N-no," I managed to stutter between my sobs. I felt Sam tighten his grip on me, but not in a painful manner.
