(Enjoy.)
"Lance, can you please come out here?!" I hear Mrs. McClain yell from the living room.
"Um, I'll be back in a second?" Lance says and stands up from sitting on his bed. He then walks to his door and quickly walks out, leaving it cracked open. I lean back on his messy navy blue sheets. I stair at the ceiling. I see that he's started to paint it, and it looks like a little galaxy. It's beautiful. It has purples and pinks, and even a little bit of read here and there, but it's mainly blues and whites.
"¡Pero mamá! Voy todos los días!" I hear from the living room.
"But that's not enough! Sus hermanos no pueden proveernos porque son demasiado o no viven con nosotros. Por tu papá, trabajo trece horas al día," I hear.
"Fine, I'll find somewhere or move out, which one do you prefer?" I hear Lance say.
"Honestly, that's your choice. You're graduated now, but you'll have to pay for your own insurance and other expenses," Mrs. McClain says.
"I know..." Then Lances voice fades into an inaudible volume. I sit up and stand up. I walk to the door and open it slowly, but only a little, just enough to see. I look down the hallway and see Lance facing the first door in the hallway. The door is now shut, by there's a light coming from the bottom of it. He then turns, and I pull my head back quick, and head to sit back down. Foot steps make their way back down this way, and the door swings open as I sit down. Lance walks this way and just sits down next to me. He then pulls up his knees and tilts his head to fall on my shoulder.
  "Can I ask?"
"I'm moving out." I look taken aback, but I was also partially expecting this from what I heard.
"Where to?" I ask, shifting my arm around his shoulders.
"Not sure yet. I'll have to figure out by Sunday. I'm only allowed to take my clothes and any other personal items I bought with my own money," Lance huffs. He lets his posture hunch over a little and we lean back against the wall. I look down at him on my shoulder. His eyes looked glossed over, like he's wanting to cry, but won't.
"I wish Hunk was here sometimes," He says and wipes a tear that finally fell. I tighten my grip on his shoulder and rest my head on top of his.
"Well, right now, all you've got is me. I won't judge," I say and I can feel him curl into more of a ball position, and the sound of little sniffs fill the emptiness of the room.
"If you need any help, just tell me. I can even have you stay at my place. I just don't want you on the streets," I say and look down at his dark brown hair. One of his hands is gripping the front and he seems to be trying to stop crying. I pull my body away from his, only to lie in front of him on my back. I look at his face, and see that one of his arms it covering his eyes.
"Hey, uncover your face," I say. He shakes his head.
"Please?" I ask and he shakes his head again. I then reach one of my hands up to pull away his arm and it was a lot easier than expected to get it to move. His eyes are already starting to become pink, but his blue irises pop from the pink surrounding them. He doesn't look at me and keeps his eyes looking down. Only stray tears are falling now and he looks tired. Very tired. There are dark bags under his eyes and he looks just dazed. He even looks a little pale for his skin tone.
"Calm down," I say and move some of the hair that is sticking to his forehead from the tears he was wiping. I then wrap my arms around his neck and pull him down into my chest.
"Ow," He chuckles and tries to sit up.
"Nope. You aren't allowed up until you actually say something but one word replies to me," I say, squeezing him back into my chest.
"Fine. Can I please get u-up," He says, still trying to calm down a little. I let go of him and he repositions himself and he's clinging to my arm, his head resting back on my shoulder.
"What can I say to make you laugh?" I ask.
"Nothing. Just laying here is enough for me," He says, and I can feel him smile against my arm.
"'You sure?" I ask and shift onto my side to face him. He nods and wipes his face.
"Ugh, I don't know how to deal with people that cry," I huff and grab at Lance's arm. I grab his hand and start to mess with his fingers.
"Your hand is so big," I chuckle and place mine against his. His fingers tower over mine by about an inch and I suddenly feel so tiny compared to him. He's much more lanky and broader than me. I'm a little skimpy and don't have much to show for my body.
"Yours is just small," He says and I go back to messing with his hand.
"'Ya know, I was thinking," I say.
  "About what?" He asks.
"Us. You know how ninety-five percent of people marry their soulmate?" I ask.
  "Yeah?" He says.
"Well, I don't want to be in that other five percent," I say.
"So, what are you saying exactly?" He asks.
"I could make this work if you would. No, I don't want to be in the five percent, but I've never actually had this kind of feeling, even if it sounds cheesy. I've never thought I was in love before, and I'm still not even sure how I feel, but I would really like to make this work. Us work," I say and try to avoid his eyes.
"You've made my night," He says and I can hear him let out a small laugh.
"Good to know," I say and a smile appears on my lips. I then let my body relax more and I close my eyes. I feel him press something against the top of my head, and I realize it was a kiss.
"Duerme, mi amor. Dulces sueños," He whispers and I curl into his chest.
"I did not understand any of what you just said," I chuckle, a smile following.
"That was the point, dummy!" He laughs.
"That scares me then," I say.
"It shouldn't," He says, "Now sleep."
  "But I don't want to," I say.
  "Sleep," He repeats.
  "No," I say.
"Come on. I'm tired. Ve a dormir," He wines. I chuckle and finally shut up.
  "Finally. Ahora quédate quieto."

[Translations: In the beginning when Lance was talking to his mom, he was basically saying he works every day and she said it wasn't enough. I just can't remember the exact words.
Duerme, mi amor. Dulces sueños. Spanish. Meaning - Sleep, my love. Sweet dreams.
Ve a dormir. Spanish. Meaning - Go to sleep.
Ahora quédate quieto. Spanish. Meaning - Now stay quiet.]

(A/n: So I enjoyed writing this one. This comes to an end of the long night... I'm so sorry this took so long...
But I hope you enjoyed, and I'm sorry it took so long to get to this point. They'll have a discussion later.
