5 years ahead

Sae

The sizzling of the pan and the sound of water boiling was occupying the kitchen. I couldn't even hear myself as I retie my apron for the nth time I had been cooking.

I lost a lot of weight. I didn't know why, maybe from staying up late at night and to skipping meals.

Oh, let's not forget my extreme workout.

My son.

"Mommy!"

My 4 year old son came waddling into the kitchen, automatically planting a grin to myself as he approached me. He had a cute little grin on his face as the words tumbled out from his lips.

"Look!" He pointed to his shirt.

I gasped.

Oh dear.

I crouched down to his level and made my smile disappear to show him I was not satisfied.

"It's daddy and you," He continued.

I traced the drawings on his clothes and shook my head.

"Baby, why did you draw on your shirt?" I carefully asked.

He then knew I wasn't happy with what he did and showed a pout as he looked down.

"I ran out of paper," He pouted. "And mommy, I just wanted to draw you on my shirt because I want to always see my mommy —oh and daddy too!"

You giggled and picked him up. His big grin that made his eyes disappear always melted my heart.

He looks just like him.

"At least you didn't drew on the walls. Daddy would get angry at you," I said to him and he nodded at every word making me chuckle and hug him closely to me.

"Mommy is going to get more paper for you to draw, okay?" I put him down and he ran to the living room.

I sighed and turned off the stove before going upstairs and getting a notebook we prepared for him. He just loved drawing and writing. We had to bring and buy notebooks for him because he finishes one for just a few days. Even though it was nonsense drawing, I still appreciated it and store it away in a bookshelf in his room.

I heard the door open when I was on the stairs and I immediately knew who he was.

My husband.

I ran down to see him crouched down to Taehyung's height. My little Taehyung was pointing to his shirt as he explained it with incoherent words.

I chuckled and they both turned their heads to me. I grinned and went to them, giving Taehyung his notebook and kissing my husband's cheek.

"Hey baby, I can smell your cooking. What's for dinner?" He asked.

I giggled and leaned into him.

"It's a surprise," I said to him," I know you're tired. How's your performance?"

I took of his jacket and just lightly massaged his shoulders. His muscles tensed under my touch and I squeezed his biceps when he turned to me.

He pecked my lips and showed me a bunny smile into which I blushed to.

"Go for a shower, I'll finish cooking and we can have dinner." I kissed his cheek.

He nodded then turned to Taehyung who was already making a mess on the table, him sprawled with crayons everywhere.

"Taehyung," The little boy looked at us and he grinned.

"Will daddy play with me now?" He giddily asked, neglecting the notebook and running into us.

He lifted Taehyung up and kissed his cheek.

"Did Taehyung took a bath already?"

I shook my head. "Nope, I couldn't distract him from drawing all day."

"Want to take a shower together, baby?"

"Yes!" Taehyung was jumping in his arms and he laughed.

Then winked at me.

What.

"I'll take care of you later, baby," He whispered to me when he passed by with a thrilled Taehyung in his arms.

I rolled my eyes but still smiled and went back to the kitchen.

-

I was done setting up the table when Taehyung ran into the kitchen with matching pajamas. I lifted him up and sat him on his chair.

I gasped when I felt my husband hugging me from behind, his head nuzzling into my neck.

"Jungkook" I turned to him and he flashed me an innocent smile. I chuckled and sat down next to Taehyung who was waiting patiently for the food.

Jungkook laughed and sat next to me. His arms went around my waist when I served Taehyung his food on his plate. I kissed his head and turned to Jungkook.

"How was today? Was it a good day?" I asked him.

He sighed," Not today"

I frowned,"Why?"

Jungkook's gaze turned to Taehyung who was distracted then leaned closer to me.

"EXO was there"

I looked at him alarmingly and I snapped my head to Taehyung, who thankfully wasn't paying attention.

"Was h-he there?" I couldn't help but ask.

Jungkook pursed his lips and his grip on my waist loosened.

"Of course he was there," Jungkook answered agitated.

"He kept on looking at me, even all my hyungs noticed." Jungkook complained.

"Why do you think he was looking at you?"

Jungkook snickered.

"Because I got the most amazing girl in the world and he threw you away. He better not throw shit about having you first. He left you."

I sighed and leaned into him. Both of us looked at Taehyung, whose eyes, nose and lips looked exactly like Sehun's.

"I don't even care if he's my senior," Jungkook scoffed.

I looked up at Jungkook and he showed a little smile.

"Jungkook, did you think I made the right choice not telling him about Taehyung?"

Jungkook frowned,"Baby, even though he left you, you have to let him know that Taehyung is his son."

I sighed.

"But Sae, don't ever look at him again," He cupped my face,"I was there when he left you. I was always there and he left you when you were hurting the most. Only love me. I'll always be the better husband and I'll always be Taehyung's father."

I nodded and he kissed me, his lips molding into mine as he held me closer. I pulled away quickly, pushing him away.

"Taehyung is here,"I blushed.

Jungkook chuckled and hugged me.

"I'll have you for dessert later then," I can feel him smirking.

You make me begin, Jungkook.
