Sae

I hadn't thought about the possibility in turning against my own words. Sometimes, we thought we knew ourselves but then later find out that we were so different. That we had changed without even noticing it.

I did promise myself. I always made promises. It included that sudden arrange marriage when I promised I'd get out of it when I didn't. When I promised myself not to fall in love when I already was falling. And the promise I made to not ever leave Sehun.

Didn't it seem funny how Sehun loved me so quickly?

Did he even make the same promises I did?

It didn't even occur to me that Sehun probably wasn't in love with me.

Words were just words.

Actions were facades to true thoughts.

Sehun was hiding something and I knew it when he left me alone here in the same hotel I stayed in when I was in China.

I opened his suitcase and found it half empty like I knew it would. Then I found a folder. I knew it was rude to look into something I shouldn't but my curiosity got the best of me. I slowly opened it and I gasped—oh wait, there's nothing inside it.

I sighed and messed my hair up in frustration.

What is Sehun hiding?

"Saeyeon," I heard my name being called and I turned around, flashing Sehun a smile as he took off his cap and made his way towards me.

"Hi," I greeted and he made his way to me, engulfing me in a hug. I struggled against him but he only tightened his grip.

"Sehun," I grunted.

He only hummed in return and buried his face in my hair.

"What were you doing while I was gone?" He asked.

Looking into your stuff.

"Not looking into your suitcase, if that's what you're thinking," I nervously said.

He let go of the hug but both his hands remained on my shoulder as he looked at me suspiciously.

I flashed him an unsure smile.

"Oh okay, so what were you really doing?" He grinned.

"Cleaning," I answered.

He chuckled and his eyes roamed around the room," Have you really started cleaning? The room still looks dirty the way I left it."

I wiped a sweat,"I have been cleaning since this morning but the dirt just keeps multiplying."

Sehun pouted,"Are you tired, hmm?"

I nodded along with him.

"Oh what a coincidence, I'm tired too. See how compatible we are. Maybe you should continue cleaning, don't want those germs to keep multiplying." He patted my head.

"And where are you going?"

He gave me an eye smile, walking past me to go to the bedroom.

"I told you, I'm tired. I'm taking a nap. Since you're not done cleaning, you aren't as tired as I am."

I rolled my eyes. "Such a considerate husband."

"I know baby. Now keep cleaning while I sleep, my tiredness keeps multiplying," He sent me a wink before going inside the bedroom.

I clicked my tongue in annoyance and just decided on finding whatever clues I can find to Sehun's secret— whatever he is hiding.

I crouched down and continued to search in Sehun's suitcase which I later found out was hopeless since it was literally useless. I groaned and wandered my eyes more. I needed to find something else. Something unexpected.
