(Continuation of the 4th chapter)

"No, I know you aren't okay with it" I exclaim

"Fine, you got me, I'm not okay, I'm jealous, I'm jealous that he picked you over me. For all the months we have been rumored to be dating, I expected him to ask me to be his girlfriend today, but that didn't happen. Because of you!"

Uh oh

I unleashed her anger, she stood up walking away, wiping tears off her eyes. I felt sorry for her. Everyone starts looking at me. Hayden, Jojo, and Jayden rush up to me asking "What happened?"

"Nothing, she just had an emergency, that's all" I lie

"I'll go after her" Jayden says

"I'm coming" I say

"Me and Jojo will stay here" Hayden looked worried, I didn't want him to look like that. It was my fault

It was all my fault

I lost a friend

Jayden and I chase after Kenzie. Jayden was a really fast runner so I was kind of left behind. Finally, we get to Kenzie.

"KENZIE!" Jayden shouts as Kenzie looks behind her."What happened?"

Kenzie glares at me

"It was just an emergency" she says "you can go now"

She continues to run

"Jayden..." I needed to tell her what actually happened

"Yeah?" She looks at me

"There wasn't an emergency" I say stuttering as I speak

"Wait..what? What actually happened?" I could tell she was filled with confusion

"She's mad at me"

"What? How?" Jayden asks

"Hayden was supposed to ask her to be his girlfriend but.." I face palm myself "...that all changed because of me"

"Oh Annie, you should have told me this earlier" she says "it's okay"

"No it's not..Kenzie is mad at me..I'm mad at me, someone just kill me already!" I cry out

"No, no one will kill you. Annie it's completely okay. Kenzie is always like that..she's just pissed off, she'll forget about it"

What if she doesn't? What if I ruin her life?

"Okay, but...please don't tell Hayden"

"I won't" she promises

But she wasn't that promising
