I'm dedicating this one chapter to my friend out there. This chapter's probably has no link to what you're probably feeling right now but Aria has Chris when she was down. And your 'Chris' are your own friends. So, this one's for you KZNVR_"Morning Aria! How did the music festival go?" asked Nadine when they met by their lockers.
"It wasn't bad but I think I could put more into the song. Something is missing but I don't know what it is."
She smiled widely, "I see. Oh yeah, I found myself a boyfriend this summer."
"Whoa, really?"
She nodded, "Yep. The captain of the soccer team, Liam Andrews."
"The playboy," Aria muttered.
"What was that?"
"Be careful Nadine. I heard from Emily, you know, she's in my music class, she used to date Liam and she caught him cheating."
"Emily Kingsley? Are you kidding?" Nadine laughed, "he told me that she was the one cheating behind his back. Liam said she used to date him because he was rich and when she's bored, she ditched him and go with another rich guy. Anyways, don't you worry about me. Liam is a good kid."
"Well, if you say so."
"Aria Green?"
Aria looked back. Her eyes darted when she saw him. She remembered this guy. The guy who was smoking at the rooftop. He had dark blonde hair with dark green eyes. When he talked, she noticed he has a small dimple on his left cheek. Why didn't she notice this before? He was wearing a simple t-shirt which was written 'Adidas' on it with jeans and a pair of black 'Timberland' boots.
"Hmm?" she said as she locked her locker.
"I never noticed your locker is beside mine," he said as his eyes travelled from her head to her toe.
She was wearing a dark crop top with skinny jeans and also white converse. Aria didn't even bother to curl her hair or put much effort on her make up. Her dark hair just fell off her shoulders and her lashes are long enough and her cheeks are mostly red because she get embarrassed easily and she doesn't give a fuck about her lips. She thought it felt uncomfortable when she was eating or drinking.
"Yeah," she bit her lip.
"Chris Greyson?" Nadine said, astonished, "you know Aria?"
Nadine on the other hand was somehow the opposite of Aria. She cared about her hair, her make up, everything. She's a girl with a perfect body. Big boobs and butt. So it wouldn't be a surprised if one or two boys often glanced at her when she picked her stuff from the floor, especially when she's in her leggings. She has long, wavy, blonde hair and dark blue eyes, people often see it as black.
He nodded, "We met in summer school."
"You sure have good moves, Aria, " Nadine nudged her elbow.
"Oh right, I just remember your name's Chris," Aria said, coldly.
"Jesus Christ, you forgot his name?" Nadine said, surprised. She was lowering her voice.
"Yeah, why? I don't remember unimportant people." Aria said, casually, "lets go to class, Nadine."
"Bye Chris!" Nadine waved at him.
"What was that about Aria? Chris Greyson knows your name! Isn't that amazing?" Nadine asked, excitedly.
"No. Why do you have to be so damn excited?"
Before Nadine could reply, she was disturbed by another boy.
