"Angel, be more gentle," Tatiana pled, while the blonde tightly braided her sister's hair.

"I'm being as gentle as I can," the blonde responded robotically, seeming completely concentrated on the last few twists of the braid.

Tatiana sat still for a few more minutes before smiling. "I can't wait for today."

"Well, I wouldn't expect anything else. You are going on an outting with the great Elijah Mikaelson."

Tatiana quietly laughed, while a dazed look flickered through her eyes.

"Finished!" Angel clapped her hands. "And now I release you out into the wild!"

Tatia glanced at Angel with a grin. "You are indescribably odd, my dear sister."

"Just go! Tell me how it turns out."

"A lady does not kiss and tell."

"Who ever said you were a lady?"

Tatia playfully glared at her twin. "Goodbye, Angelikah."

Angel grimaced in disgust. "Just go."

She watched amusedly, as her twin flounced out the door, and she leaned against the doorway, making sure that Tatiana was safe with Elijah. She always made sure her sisters were safe.

As she looked away, her gleaming eyes caught sight of a glaring Niklaus. He was obviously hurt and angry about Tatiana's day plans, and Angel pitied the blue-eyed man. With a sweet smile, she snuck behind Niklaus before pouncing on his back.

"Guess who," she demanded.

"Really, Angel?" He sounded exasperated, but the glimmer of joy in his voice was still noticable.

"How did you know it was me," she pouted, while still clinging to his back.

He simply laughed, while shifting her into a more secure position.

"So," the blonde began, while placing her head on top of his, "want to go to the lake?"

A sad smile graced his lips. That was where she always took him when he was upset or angry. It seemed as if she knew him better than he knew himself. "I would love to."

The blonde girl grinned, as he began to rush away from the disapproving stares of the villagers. The two snickered, while the leaves of the emerald trees brushed against their  faces, and the sun's heat softly danced against their skin.

"Ha! You're as fast as a wolf, darling!"

Niklaus chuckled, while setting the girl down. The two dropped to the ground before slipping off their shoes and setting their feet into the cool water and laying against the dewy grass.

"Speaking of wolves," Niklaus began, "I was thinking about bring Henrik to watch them."

Angel's brows furrowed. "Why would you do that? It sounds dangerous."

Niklaus shrugged. "He has a fascination with the creatures."

"I think you would be better off carving him a picture of a wolf than bringing him to them. It's not wise."

"Possibly," Niklaus agreed, but his mind was already set on going.

"So, my sister," Angel began, bluntly.

The blue-eyed man cringed. "What about her?"

"Oh, come on. She's the entire reason we came here."
