I know! Fast update! Anyway, I was wondering if y'all are getting update notifications? I've been having trouble with getting mine:) thanks for reading!

The sky was stained a bleak azul, painted with hues of gold and white. The moon was rising, beginning to chase it's shinning lover away. The erratic beat of music poured from her sister's room and flooded the house.

"Turn it down!" Jeremy's aggravated voice rose over the music, as well as a loud banging noise that could only be described as harsh hits to the wall. Elena had been in a glowing mood recently and that seemed to annoy Jeremy. Their brother's snarkiness towards Elena had begun to increase, and Elena's patience with him started to decrease, which, of course, left Angel stuck in the middle of the two's consistent bickering. Elena marched out of her room and to Jeremy's. Angel knew Elena was going to confront him about his attitude, and she knew that Jeremy was then going to become enraged by her twin's prying. The slam of Jeremy's door only proved Angel right. She watched as her sister's shoulders deflated and a hurt look consumed the brunette's delicate features. Their identical eyes met briefly, before Elena shook her head sadly and stumbled back into her room, closing the door and turning the music off. Angel's lips pursed at her siblings' fighting and.

"Can't they just shut the fuck up," she grumbled quietly to herself. The blonde tried to feel sympathy for them, she really did, but she was sure her ability to be empathetic had began to fade, especially for the nonsense her brother and sister displayed. Rolling her heavily-lined eyes, she leaned towards the mirror and smeared the dark red lipstick on her lips before standing straight and looking in the mirror with a blank expression. Her hair was left down, flowing messily in tangled waves down her back. Her lids were hooded and dark, painted with glittering black eyeshadow in a smokey effect, as well as lined with lazily flicked wings. Her mouth was painted a deep rose, crafting the illusion of blood-drenched lips. The black dress she wore was tight and short, hugging her tightly and angrily. Removing her gaze away from her reflection, she turned off her lights and shut her door.

"Knock, knock," Angel hummed, before slowly opening the Gilbert boy's door. Jeremy's head snapped in the direction of the door. A grin replaced his stiff frown.

"Hey, Sis," he greeted gently. "Where are you off to?"

Angel shrugged, running her finger along his dresser dispassionately. "Out."

Jeremy grinned wider. "What do you need?"

"Nothing. I just came to give my baby bro a hug." A sweet smile danced on her face, as she looked at him. He simply raised a brow. Angel shrugged again. "You know she loves you." Silence drifted across the room.

"She needs to mind her own damn business."

Angel huffed. "Look, I am not going to get into this drama you and Elena seem to find joy in creating. All I am going to say is that Elena feels like she lost control. Actually, you both do, so that is why you two do the things you do. While you have chosen to push away your pain with drugs, Elena chose to try and fix our beautifully corrupted family. That is how she is handling it Jeremy. Fixing things is Elena's drug. Now, I'm not telling you to take her annoyingly whiny speeches like a good little bitch, but I am asking you nicely to grow a pair, man up, and turn your fucking cheek." Jeremy looked at her.

"That was asking nicely?"

"Do you want me to show you what demanding you will be like, you snarky little-"

"Okay! Okay! I get it! Thank you for your kindness," he laughed.

Her eyes narrowed. "Whatever. I'm going out. Don't wait up."

"I love you," he called after her. Angel opened his sock drawer and pulled out a hidden baggie.

"Find a better spot for your stash, moron," she muttered, tossing the bag at his grinning face.
