Recap:
I felt relief In it not being him. Yet I also felt a pit of sadness.

"Yeah I'm fine. I just a lot to do for my project for art so I was heading straight home." I said scanning the crowd behind her to see if Ashton was anywhere around.
"You sure? Ashton said some things and I know that those are things that bother you." She said in her usual caring loving voice.
"Yeah I'm sure." I said smiling lightly.
I love Hannah she's my best friend. She knows pretty much everything. Sure there's some things she doesn't like the real reason I hate my dad. She thinks it's just because he's at work all the time and he's let getting money go to his head. I mean that's part of it but not all of it.
"There you are. Are you going to the party tonight?" Calum wrapped his arms around Hannah, Ashton following behind him.
"Yeah I'd love to. Lana you wanna come?" Hannah asked giving me a small smile.
"I have a lot of work to do." I mean yeah I did but that wasn't the reason I wasn't going. I'd love to go. I just can't.
"Oh ok. Maybe next time?" Hannah said a little sad. I don't know why she wanted me to go so bad. I never went to parties and she knew that I couldn't.
"Maybe." I gave her a small smile and said goodbye before heading back to my car. I got completely lost in my thoughts not paying attention that I was being followed.
"Really? An old Volkswagen bug. I honestly expected a BMW or a Lamborghini." Ashton laughed looking at my old car.
It looked a little rough sure but that's what I loved about it. I love old cars. Especially Volkswagen bugs.
"There you go with the stereotype again." I said with a huff. I opened the door and threw my books inside. I got in slamming the door behind me. My window was rolled down so it wouldn't be so hot in here from the summer day.
"You really don't like me do you princess?" Ashton said with a smirk.
"You either really don't like me or you can't stop thinking about me." He was trying to seduce me and it wasn't working.
"Move or I'll run you over." Was all I said. I was pissed and maybe a little turned on, but I wasn't letting him win.
"Ok. Ok." He stepped back and smirked. "I'll see you later princess."
I just huffed and drove off. God that asshole. What gives him the right to do what he's doing? And why is he doing it to me? Me of all people.
Just thinking about it made me mad. I hated him. I hated him so much. Yet there was something about him. He was right I couldn't get him out of my mind and that pissed me off even more.
I decided in order to calm down I could take the longer way home. Driving always seemed to calm me. Plus there was a chance of dad being home and I wasn't in the mood for him.
As I pulled up in the drive way I noticed my dad's car along with another. As I got closer I realized it was his friend Nick's car. Great. This day couldn't get any better.
I grabbed my books and headed inside dreading what was to come.
"Ah Lana. Right on time." My father said looking at the clock.
"Good evening father." I said looking at the floor. "
"How was school?" My father asked in his usual form voice.
"It was ok I guess." I said quietly. He didn't even bother with a response he just walked out of the room leaving me with Nick.
"Lana it's a pleasure as always." I felt his hand in my arm. Nick was always a little to touchy for my comfort. Especially when they got drunk and I had a feeling that's just what's going to happen tonight.
