I quickly got out of the car and ran into the house, with Alex at my heels. I ran into the living room and saw it was filled with teenagers playing on the Xbox. I forgot tonight was game night. I scanned the room but didn't see my parents. I turned around and bolted up the stairs. But I was going so fast, I didn't see the person in front of me so I bumped into them. I was about to fall on my ass, but Alex caught me with his good arm. I smile at him gratefully and looked up at the person I bumped into. I rolled my eyes at my sisters annoyed stare.

"Watch where you're going." She hissed before pushing past me and storming downstairs. I ignored Alice and continued upstairs. I turned a couple hallways until I came to my dads office, which will soon be mine. I listened to hear anything and just heard my parents talking. I grabbed the doorknob and slowly opened the door. Immediately they stopped talking and looked at us. Mom smiled and gestured inside us inside.

I let Alex sit down in the remaining chair while I stood by the door.

"How's Uncle Myk?" I ask. Dad frowns and leans back into his chair, giving my answer.

"That bad?"

He nods. I sighed.

"Anyway, back to why you kids are here." Mom says rubbing her arms nervously.

"Ok, what did you mean when you said it is possible for Lisa to fell sparks for a person other then her mate?" I ask. Alex gasped.

"Wait, how is that possible?" He asks. I shrug.

Dad sighed, looked at mom before looking back at us.

"You both are aware of wolfsbane right?" he asks. I nod while Alex shivers.

"If you inject the right amount of wolfsbane into the bloodstream it could cause the loss of memory, you could be paralyzed or you could die. This is how Ashe, or Lisa's mother, altered her memory to think Ashe was her mate."

I bit my lip but nodded even though I was fucking livid. But my dad carried on.

"Wolfsbane could also cause the brain to tell the body to do things that it shouldn't do. Like feel tingles for the wrong person, have sexual desires for the wrong person, eat something you're allergic to, the list goes on. So that's why Lisa feels like Ashe is her mate." My dad finally finished. My hands were in fists and my fangs were out. That son of a bitch. I'm gonna tear him to pieces, reassemble him, then tear him apart again!!

I turned around and rammed my fist into the door, causing a huge hole. Nobody flinched nor jumped. But I think I hit someone outside.

I retracted my fist and started pacing around the offices trying not to punch the wall again. Oh he's gonna get what he deserves. They all will.

"Alright, calm down Achlys. There is a way to fix this." My mom says. My head snapped up and my fangs retracted.

"What? How?" Alex asks before I could.

"Well, um, both ways are impossible." My dad says awkwardly. I raise my eyebrow.

"Why? Tell us." I whine, almost growl. My dad sighs.

"You would have to mark her."

Um, that's easy.

"Why is that impossible?" I ask. I could easily do that.

"But you guys would have to mate first."

My smile faded instantly.
Dammit!!

"What's the second option? I don't think it's that bad!" Alex insists. I nod agreeingly. Dad sighs and rubs his eyes before leaning back into his chair once again.
