25~ Positive
~Achlys~
"Are you alright honey?" My mom asks, staring at me with worry. I gave her a fake smile and nodded. Honestly, I was not fine. I was worried for Lisa. Normally, humans that gave birth to a vampire child, die in the process. Obviously, vampires need blood to stay alive, but humans don't drink blood and slowly the human would die because the baby didn't have a choice but drink the human's blood. I don't know if that will happen with Lisa, with her being a werewolf and all.
My mother frowned and gave me a 'You're not serious' look. I sighed. My mother knows me too well. I growled and laid on my back on the couch, my head ending up in my father's lap.
"You'll be great mothers Achlys," Dad whispers, running his fingers through my hair. I hummed and nodded. We'll be fine.
I strained my ears to hear what Lisa was up to but I couldn't hear anything. I frowned and sat up, straining my ears even more. I still couldn't hear anything.
"Lisa went to the downstairs bathroom right?" I asked my parents who nodded. I furrowed my eyebrows before finally hearing something.
A soft gasp.
My eyes widened when I heard a soft thump in the bathroom. I shot to my feet and ran to the bathroom. I swung the door and gasped.
Lisa was unconscious.
I grabbed Lisa and looked at the stick.
It was positive.
I sighed and rushed out.
My family and friends stood outside the bathroom, shocked.
"It's positive."
I begged my father to take her to the hospital but he kept saying that she just passed out and will wake up soon.
I placed her on the couch and sighed. I moved her light brown hair out of her face before my gaze lowered to her stomach. I sighed and placed my hand on the base of her stomach. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up. It was Blake.
"She'll make it. I know it." He says softly, crouching down next to me. I take a deep breath and nod, staring down at my beautiful angel. I wouldn't let her die. Never.
Suddenly her nose starts to twitch and her eyes flutter open. She groans and looks around. She sits up and holds he back of her with her hand.
"What happened?" She grumbles, rubbing the back of her head. I sigh in relief and grab her hand.
"You passed out."
She furrowed her eyebrows and tilted her head to the side in confusion.
"Why?" She rubs her eyes. I smile and show her the stick. Her eyes widened.
"We're pregnant?" She asks in disbelief. I grinned and nodded. Her eyes widened even more as she stared from me to the stick.
"Oh my god."
She looked like she was about to pass out again but thankfully, she didn't. She just stared at the stick with a faraway look in her eyes. I frowned and crawled next to her, sitting with my legs folded underneath me. I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and pulled her to my chest.
"We'll be fine. I promise, my love. We're surrounded with people who will help us take care of them." I whispered, stroking her hair. She sighs and nudges her head into the crook of my neck.
"When I get, you know, big, do I have to go to school?" Lisa whimpers in my neck. I chuckled and shook my head, kissing her temple when she retreated from my neck.
"Of course not. But here's a fact, about half of the werewolf population has children at a very young age so there are bound to be girls in your school who are pregnant."
She smiles at my words and snorts.
"Mh hm. I heard that one of the popular girls that goes to my school got pregnant. She didn't show up for months."
I chuckled and rolled my eyes.
"C'mon. Lets eat something." I suggest causing her to grin and nod. I laugh, grab her hand and drag her into the kitchen. There, my parents were rustling around the kitchen and Blake and Ashton were sitting at the island. I took a deep breath and smiled.
"What smells so good?" Lisa breathes out, taking multiple deep breathes. I rolled my eyes. My mother turns towards Lisa and smiled.
"We making you steak with risotto and broccoli."
She gasped and grinned.
"Oh hell yeah."
I laughed as I led her to the island. She sat next to Blake while I sat next to her. When my parents finished cooking, they served us first. Even we don't technally need to eat human food, it's nice to have a decent meal every once in a while. Immediately Lisa dug in, causing everyone to laugh. She didn't slow as she ripped into her steak like it was gonna run away any minute. I rolled my eyes and rubbed her arm.
"Lisa, love, you're not in the wild, your food isn't gonna run away." I chuckled. She playfully glared at me and swallowed the food in her mouth.
"You don't know that." She says with a smirk. Blake rolls his eyes while Ashton snorts in laughter. I copied Blake's action and rolled my eyes at my fiance.
"Oh yes, the steak will magically turn back into a cow and run away." Blake says sarcastically. I burst out laughing.
"Exactly!! See? Someone gets me." She teased, glancing at me. I rolled my eyes. My mother chuckles. "You all act like children." She states, smirking at all of us. Ashton pouts and Blake looks like he was about to protest.
"I am not a child!" Ashton whines, crossing his arms over his chest. Blake nods his head. "What he said."
Mom laughs and shakes her head at us.
Dinner progressed, I did notice that Lisa started to eat a little slower.
After dinner, Lisa and I excused ourselves and we walked up to our room. It wasn't late at all, but we still climbed into bed like it was. I turned the TV on while Lisa cuddled into my side.
"We'll be okay, right Achlys?" She asks as she wraps her arms around my torso. I wrap my arm around her shoulder and chucked, pecking her lips.
"I'm positive."
