I was breathing heavily as I injected the liquid into my mate. Immediately she fell limp onto the bed. Her canines and claws retracted and before she closed her eyes I saw that they turned back to their normal brown.

"You did the right thing." My mom says beside me. I sighed and took the needle out of her arm and threw it across the room, shuddering as it shattered on the wall.

"Do you think Tech remembers me?" I ask softly as I gently ran my fingers through her hair.

"Honestly hun, I don't know." She whispered. She kisses my cheek before leaving the room. I stayed there for hours, listening to her heart beat slowly. As I was scanning her face, I saw a flash of red in the corner of my eye. My eyes snapped to her neck and immediately my fangs extended. Right on her neck, visible to everyone, was a huge hickey. I knew who gave it to her but I still bent down and smelled the red mark and my eyes widened. Oh he's gonna rot in hell. I shot up and stormed out of the room.

"Achlys? Where are you going? Is Lisa in there?" Asked Alex, with Jamie right behind him. Last night Alex went to the airport to pick up Jamie, who had gone to Australia for his job.

"Nowhere and yes." I said simply as I pasted them, but Alex grabbed my arm and pulled me back.

"Nuh Uh, you're pissed off. What happened?"

I rolled my blood red eyes and yanked my arm out of his grasp.

"Just gonna go hunting, to let off some steam." I muttered. Yes I was going hunting, but not like he thinks.

Alex stared at me for a good two minutes before sighing and nodding. I walked past them and out the door. It was pitch black outside, or I think it was, I had pretty good night vision.

I strode into the woods, confidently. I was going to do this and no one is going to stop me. My ears then picked up the pitter patter of an animal. My fangs extended again as I followed the sound into the forest. I stopped dead in my tracks when the sound of four paws turned into the sound of two feet.

"He's real pissed." A girl said. I walked towards the voice and found myself in the shadows of a camp site. There were three boys, two girls and an unknown wolf sleeping silently.

"No shit. He can't go ahead with his plan without her." One boy says. The second boy rolled his eyes.

"I think this plan is stupid. Who wants to be Alpha anyway?" He scoffs. The second girl, a blonde, eyes widened as she quickly put her finger over her mouth and pointed to the sleeping wolf.

"Shhh, you're gonna wake him." She growled. That's when it clicked. They were talking about Ashe! And that means.....

Before I could do anything, the blonde male groaned.

"I miss peaches! It's all my fault she got kidnapped!" He whined. Oh yeah! He was that guy that was with Lisa when I kid- I mean took her home.

"I don't get why you call her peaches." The brunette female rolled her eyes. The blonde smirked and punched the brunette gently on the shoulder.

"Awe! Is someone jealous?" He teased. I stopped listening and averted my attention to the sleeping wolf. So that's probably Ashe. Now I remember! He's the wolf that approached us when Lisa and I were in the woods. I knew something was off with him. I stalked around the group and towards Ashe.
