28~ Epilogue

Do it for her.

A snarl escaped my lips as I ran through the trees. Everyone had agreed to take down my "parents." I left them to take Achlys back to the house while I was going to meet them at their pack house. I didn't want to be near Achlys after that. I felt empty without her. My whole world had no meaning anymore.

Killing myself had popped into my mind many times during the run over but one thing keeps stopping me.

Our unborn child.

If I took my life, then I would be taking theirs.

I wanted to be there for my child and be the best mom ever but I couldn't see that happening without Achlys.

I pushed all the thoughts about our  baby, Achlys, and my future out of my mind as I neared the pack house.

Wolves were wandering around the house I used to call home. Kids played in the garden with their parents observing from a distance. I could smell patrols circling the territory and it seems Alexander doubled the patrols as there were double the scent markings then normal.

I dove into the shadows when I smelt a patrol coming my way. They stopped right in front of me, but of course they couldn't see me. They started sniffing the ground, trying to follow my scent. They passed me dozens of times and the even started circling the tree I was standing beside but they still didn't see me. They stared at each other with narrowed eyes and frustrated expressions before one of them huffed and lead the others away from me.

I smirked to myself and trotted out into the open. I put my snout to the ground and started to sniff around for any other threatening scents, other then the ones from the wolves that just passed. When finding none, I crept towards the pack house, knowing Anna and Alexander were in there.

But before I could continue, I heard someone whisper behind me.

"Lisa! Get your stupid ass back here right now!!"

I looked over my shoulder and narrowed my eyes when I saw Blake and Ashton hiding in a tree. I growled in frustration and sprinting towards them, so I didn't get caught.

I shifted into my human form and crossed my arms over my chest. I knew I was naked so I didn't care they saw. They were gay anyway. It's not like they were gonna look at my nakedness and be like 'Oooh! That's hoooot!'. Nope.

"What do you want?!" I hissed up at them. Blake rolled his eyes and jumped down.

"You can't go marching in there without a plan! You could get yourself killed!" He hissed at me. I rolled my eyes.

"And?"

Blake rolled his eyes again and scoffed.

"We need to think about this. You can't be getting hurt!" He says gesturing to my already big stomach. It wasn't that big but there was still a visible bump.

"I will be careful! I just want get this done." I growled before shifting back into my wolf form. Ashton sighs but shrugs and starts walking towards the house.

"I've got a plan." He says before stopping at the edge of the woods.

He leans into my ear and whispers, "Howl."

I stare at him incredulously. I thought we were gonna sneak in.

Ashton and Blake both smirk at me.

"Go on. Howl."

I do as he says and lift my head up and howl. The sound echoes throughout the forest, catching the attention of the whole pack in front of us. But before they could do anything, I heard thundering footsteps. I turned around and I saw a bunch of wolves coming our way. I was about to spring on them but I stopped myself when I saw a familiar red wolf.
