24~ Unexpected News

I just wanted to thank you guys for the 50k reads!! You all are so great and I love each and every one of you. I also wanted to warn you guys that from this point on, this story will be moving quite fast to be prepared. I hope you enjoy!! 

P.S I also changed Achlys' age to 117 because I noticed I made her parents younger than her and that is just weird so now she is 117. 

24~ Unexpected News 

I whimpered and stared into the mirror, glancing at the small bite on the base of my neck. Achlys was pacing in the room, basically pulling her hair out. 

"What are we going to do? We're too young. I mean, I'm hella a lot older than you but still. We're not ready." She ranted, pulling at her midnight locks. I sighed and ran my fingers over the soft bite. It didn't hurt really, but it defiantly stung afterwards. My hands were shaking as I pulled the black hoodie over my head to hide the mark.

"I mean, are we one hundred percent sure? It could have failed or something." I suggest in a pleading tone. Achlys shakes her head and plops onto the bed, burying her head in her hands. 

"Whenever a vampire, preferably a girl, bites into a certain spot of a girl's neck, something with the genes or whatever travel to the ovaries and fertilize the egg, creating a child. This only happens when something happened to the guy or like in our case, its a couple of the same gender. My dad told me that it is ninety-five percent accurate." 

I shuddered at the thought. I was too young to have a child. Hell, We haven't even graduated from high school yet. 

I stared down at my stomach and rubbed it gently. Just thinking that there might be a living creature inside me scared the living daylights out of me. I don't think I'm capable to be a mother. Achlys stopped pacing and frowned when she saw my worried look. 

"We'll be fine. I promise Lisa." She says softly before wrapping her arms around me.

You may be wondering, how did this happen? Well, after I got home yesterday from running with Cory, Travis, Chloe, Noah and Jade, Achlys and I got into a huge fight and let me tell you, a pissed off Achlys is very hot. We ended up doing.... it and she accidentally impregnated me, like she said before, only happens when she bites into a certain part of my shoulder which all led up to this moment. 

I sighed and melted into her arms. This is not a great start to the day, is it? I sighed underneath my breath and bit my lip. Everything will be fine. I left Achlys' embrace and went to get changed. I left my black hoodie on and but changed into a pair of grey sweatpants. I lifted my hoodie once again and glanced at Achlys. She had changed into a pair white cotton shorts and I'm pretty sure her dad's black shirt. She grabbed my hand and we descended downstairs, not saying anything. Before we made it to the end of the stairs, I pulled Achlys back. 

"Could you run to the store and get me a test? You said that there was ninety-five percent chance I'm pregnant. Please? Just to be one hundred percent sure?" I begged her. She smiled and nodded. 

"Anything for you, love." She says before she runs out of the house. I sigh and walked into the living room. The news brought my mood down. Even if I was in my last year of high school, it doesn't make a big difference. Both of us are still teens (even if Achlys one hundred years older than she looks) and we're still young. I was totally freaking out on the inside. Who will look after him or her while Achlys and I are in school? How will he or she react to having two mothers? Will he or she get bullied? 

Hundreds of questions swirled in my head as I plopped on the couch. Blake, Ashton and Achlys' parents were sitting watching the third movie of Twilight (which I specifically heard Ashton and Blake say they hated). I'm pretty sure they were watching the whole series.
