The next day we had another trip to Hogsmeade. Hermione decided to stay at the castle. She told Ron she wasn't feeling well but I know my sister. She was really just trying to give Ron and I some more alone time.We walked to Hogsmeade (How the heck do they even get there, Idk.) and since spring was coming I decided not to wear my cloak.
As I walked through the gate, Ron held my hand and smiled at me. I returned the smile while laughing and dragging him into Honeydukes.
A couple of shops later, we were walking towards the shrieking shack. Ron was telling me some stupid joke about waffles. I couldn't help but laugh.
We walked to the fence and stared at the creaky building. "Ya know" Ron said. "I couldn't care if we actually lived in the Shrieking Shack or not, all I care is if I'm with you."
He looked me straight in the eyes at that point.
"Aw, Ron" I said while hugging him. The hug lasted for a while until I felt like someone was watching me.
I turned around to look at the woods and I saw someone duck behind a tree. I stomped up the hill and looked to see none other than Draco.
"Malfoy!" I said while actually studying his face in the light. He had bags under his eyes and his eyes were red like he had been crying. There were bruises all over his face like he was self harming. Or was he?
I grabbed his wrist and saw fresh cuts all the way up to the crook of his elbow.
"Draco, why!?" I asked, actually getting worried for him. He looked at me and almost started to cry. Draco wriggled out of my grasp and ran into the forest.
I really didn't feel like getting into any more trouble than I had in the past few days so I turned around and walked back to Ron. He tried to ask and said that if I didn't tell him what happened then he would go and take a look himself.
I told Ron that it was just my imagination and that we should go to the Three Broomsticks to brush it off but I don't know if he believed me.
We walked into the restaurant and got a table for two. It was a little awkward, but aren't all first dates?
A guy walked up to us and Ron said "Two butterbeers please." At least he knew what I usually ordered.
A couple silent minutes passed by and our drinks were placed at the table. I took a long drink so I wouldn't have to look at Ron or say anything to make it more awkward.
"Look" Ron said while placing his hands on the table.
"I know that this isn't much and it maybe a little awkward but I want to have fun on our first date."
I was about to take another swig but Ron grabbed my hand and led me out.
"Where are we going?" I asked but Ron ignored me and kept walking up the hill. He put his warm hands over my eyes and we walked a little further. It was kind of hard to know where I was going since there was no one to lead me but I eventually got the hang of it.
Once we got to where Ron was supposedly taking me, he told me to look and I did. The sight I saw was beautiful. The sun was at just the right angle, the sky was blue with puffy white clouds and the best part of all was that (Y/N) X Ron was spelled out in all kinds of flowers.
"Oh Ron this is beautiful!" I exclaimed while taking everything in.
"You love it?" Ron asked.
