Ron Weasley x Reader (3rd Year)

Chapter 9

"Severus please" Remus said. Emily took (y/n)'s wand out of her pocket.

"After you" Snape said while looking at the kids and nodding.

Emily pointed the wand at Sirius before swiftly moving it to Snape and yelling "Expelliarmus!" Snape blew back into the bed, causing it to break.

"Emily, what did you do!?" Ron asked.

"You attacked a teacher!" Hermione yelled.

"Tell me about Peter Pettigrew." Emily said.

"He was at school with us, we thought he was our friend," Remus said like it was obvious.

"No, Pettigrew is dead. You killed him!" Emily said while pointing her wand at Sirius.

"No he didn't!" Lupin outburst which caused Emily to point her wand back to him. "I thought so too until you mentioned seeing Pettigrew on the map!"

"The map was lying then!" Harry said.

"The map never lies! Pettigrew's alive! And he's right there!" Sirius yelled while pointing at Ron.

"Me?! That's mental!" A confused Ron said while looking at Sirius like he just threw a puppy out of a moving train. "Not you...your rat!"

"Scabbers has been in my family for-"

"12 years! Curiously long life for a common, brown rat! He's missing a toe, isn't he?!"

"So what?"

"All they could find of Pettigrew was his-" Emily said before being interrupted by Sirius.

"Finger! All he did was cut it off so everyone would think he was dead! And then he transformed into a rat!"

"Show me." Emily said. Sirius grabbed for Scabbers but Ron wouldn't let him go.

"Give in to him, Ron," Harry said.

"What are you trying to do to him?!" Ron said while looking like he was going to break out and cry. "Scabbers!" Ron yelled for his beloved pet. "Leave him alone!"

It took both Hermione and (y/n) to hold Ron down.

"Get off him, please don't do it! Scabbers!" Ron sobbed. (Y/n) took Ron into her arms and   hugged him. She refused to let go until he calmed down.

Sirius and Lupin were both trying to cast spells at the rat but it wasn't working. Scabbers was running too quickly and he was about to run out the door when Sirius shot him in the back.

Both Remus and Sirius grabbed him and pulled him out of the doorway. The so called 'Scabbers' turned into an ugly looking middle aged man that resembled a rat.

"Remus?" The man spoke. "Sirius?! My old friends!" He said in delight before making a beeline for the door.

Remus and Sirius caught him before he could go any further. The man turned around and saw Harry and Emily huddled together.

"Harry, Emily! Look at you! You're both so much like your father, like James. We were the best of friends!"

"How dare you speak to them!" Sirius spat. The rat-like man made an inhumane noise before running to the other side of the room.

"How dare you talk about James in front of them!" Black said again. "You sold James and Lily to Voldemort, didn't you?!" Remus interrogated.

"I didn't mean to!" Pettigrew sobbed. "The dark lord!" he yelled. "You have no idea of the weapons he possesess. What about you, Sirius. What would you have done? What would you have done?!"

"I would've died! I would've died than betray my friends!" Harry ran and blocked the doorway so Pettigrew couldn't get out.

"Harry, Emily!" Peter said while clutching on to them. "James wouldn't have wanted me killed. Your dad....your dad would've spared me and shown me mercy!" Peter said before yelling again when Lupin and Sirius pulled him away.

"You should have realized Peter, that if Voldemort wouldn't have killed you, we would...together!" Sirius said.

"No!" Harry yelled out.

"Harry," Remus said while turning to look at him. "This man-"

"I know what he is!" Harry interrupted. "But we'll take him to the castle."

"Bless you boy, bless you!" Pettigrew said while dropping to his knees and worshipping Harry.

"Get off! Harry yelled while stepping out of Peter's reach. "I said we'll take him to the castle. After that the dementors can have you."

TIME SKIP

"Sorry for that bite," Sirius apologized. "It will get better though. Just get to the infirmary and Madam Pomfrey will fix you right up."

When they got to the end of the tunnel. Sirius helped Ron out and Emily helped (y/n).

"You guys better get to the infirmary before things get too bad," Hermione said. You could tell she was really worried for them. Harry and Emily went to talk to Sirius so the only one left to help was Hermione.

"I'll try my best guys, but I don't know how well I'll do carrying both of you." It was a long and strenuous walk, but as soon as they hit the doors of the Infirmary, Madam Pomfrey ran to them and fixed them right up.

As soon as Harry and Emily made it into the room, Dumbledore appeared and said to Hermione, Emily and Harry and that more than one live could be saved.

"You know what to do, Hermione," Dumbledore said to her. "I find that retracing my steps always helps. Good luck."

Hermione grabbed at her neck and pulled out a golden necklace with a funny charm that looked like an hourglass. "Sorry Ron and (y/n), but seeing as you can't walk..." Hermione said while putting the necklace around Harry and Emily and turning the wheel. They quickly disappeared, leaving (y/n) and Ron alone in the infirmary.

"(Y/n)," Ron piped up.

"Yes Ron?" (y/n) said while turning to look at him, her eyes all sparkly and glassy.

     "I know things between us are...." Ron paused, he wasn't very great with words.

(Y/n) looked concerned. "Oh no," she thought. "He's going to break up with me, isn't he."

"Awkward" Ron said, creating an awkward silence. ;)

"Things between us are really awkward, and that's not really what I had in mind for dating. So.....I was thinking we should-"

"Wait." she said while sitting up straighter. "Are you, breaking up with me?"

Ron paused, not really knowing what to say.

"No. What I really wanted to ask you was.........was if you'd go on another date with me?"

"Of course I will!"  (Y/n) said while beaming with delight.

All of a sudden Hermione, Emily and Harry appeared on the other side of the room. Hermione saw that Ron and (y/n) had finally gotten everything figured out.

Hermione looked at them while smirking. "I knew you two would make a great couple."

Well guys, I hoped you liked the story. This was my first character x reader story so it wasn't very good, but....yeah.
