He carried me, and he didn't seem to mind as he walked the miles.

Nobody had followed, none of them wanting to go near Damon or his pack once I'd freed them of their debt.

I stayed awake, he carried me bridal style, silently.

And though I could barely move, barely stay awake and tears were falling freely down my face, the sound of his beating heart comforted me.

I must seem like a freak to them all.

Balling after what I'd just done, my wolf was extrodinary I was aware, but she was part of me.

"I'm Liam." He stated finally, pulling me even closer.

"I'm Blake." I whispered. "And I'm sorry I cannot walk on my own."

"I don't mind."

I did not open my eyes but I could tell when we had stepped into the back yard behind the house.

"I won't let him hurt you." I said when I finally opened my eyes.

"Ill take your word for it". He chuckled.

"Besides he might not even be back yet-" But even as the words began to leave my mouth I knew they were wrong. I could feel him, sense him. And as the door flew open I could see his expression.

DAMON'S POV.

She was bloody, but not with her own blood, held tightly in the arms of some dirty boy.

"What the hell happened!" I demanded, not giving him a chance to protest as I yanked her out of his arms.

"Blake!" I tired to yell but my anger depleted as soon as I seen her sitting on the ground, tears were falling from her eyes but she wasn't sobbing. She looked exahsted and broken and as soon as I met her tired eyes her emotion and state of mind swept through me.

There was an immense amount of guilt, fear and deppression that assaulted me, making me want to curl up and hide. There was sadness that made my chest hurt and there was a depression developed of all those things.

But as soon as it was there it left me, leaving only a slight ache.

"Blake.." I could only look down at her as she sat, not looking at me, but looking at the grass.

"Liam." I looked over at the boy in recognition.

How was he here right now.

He didn't flinch at his name, or that the man who had put him there, had beat him a few times, was standing right in front of him.

Instead he watched, her, wanting to shove me out of the way to get to her.

"Blake what did you do.?" I asked, waving my hand in a shooing motion towards where my pack was approaching.

They stopped but didn't leave.

"Your terrible!" She suddenly cryed out. "You-your aweful! Because of you I can't even-" She put her hands to her head, "I can't control it away from my family-"

She began sobbing and I ignored Liam. "Control what?" I knelt down by her, "You need to rest for tomorrow-"

"Don't touch me!" She screamed, but as I looked into her eyes I seen they had turned golden. "You hurt innocent people. You do things without thinking of the consequences. well there are consequences!" she forced herself to stand and slapped my hand away from her. "I'm your consequence!" She took a step back.

What is happening to her?

"I don't want to be here anymore. You ruin lives you ruined my life!"
