2 weeks in and it was only a near 1 and a half months until I would take the role of alpha.
Though there is discussion that it will be postponed. My parents were more then capable anyhow. I know they sensed something was not sitting right with me anyways.
Liam sensed it too.
Liam. geez Liam.
even watching him come out of the pool and shake his blonde locks. he had since gotten a haircut and the shorter, yet still floppy cut suited him.
The water glistened on his toned ABS.
His strong arms held Aspen the way he had held me as he carried us to what I made our freedom.
He blew a puff of air in her face and she giggled, squirming in his arms as he tickled her.
He glanced over at me, a magnificent smile upon his face before he ran towards the water and jumped in. Aspen squealing happily in his arms before going under.
Aspen popped up first, Liam holding her on his shoulders.
Godess I loved the- Aspen.
I shook my head.
"Mommy!" she squealed. "Come in teh waterh!"
"No, I'm gonna stay right here Kiddo." I smiled at her, trying to ignore the frown on her face.
Liam quickly made it disappear as he dove under water.
I sighed and watched the other pups play in the pool around us.
There was a 3 year old I recognized as Holden swimming awkwardly on his own. I read that sometimes humans don't learn to swim well until they're almost in gradeschool.
It was just basic instinct for most us.
I swished my legs slowly in the water as I sat on the hot cement around the edges of the pool.
The water was heated by the hot sun but still managed to feel cooling against my legs. Comforting.
Like an idiot I realized that someone had been standing in the pool in front of me.
I looked up and smiled at the sight of Liam.
"Hey." he said.
I looked over at a playing Aspen on a big floaty with Holden's mom, then back up at Liam.
"Hey, I think Aspen likes you more then me." I laughed, looking up at him.
I shivered lightly as his hips touched my knees.
"Yeah. Its not like you can resist laughing when tickled." he ran a hand through his hair with a flip, spraying me with light droplets of water.
I'm sure if she wanted to she could." I rolled my eyes, poking him for his excuse. "It can't be that hard."
"Oh really?" he narrowed his eyes playfully at me.
"Really." I laughed, glancing Aspens way.
Suddenly and with a squeal I was laughing.
"St-Stop it!" I giggled, gasping for air in between laughter.
Then strong arms were wrapped around my waist and I was pulled over the edge of the pool in his arms.
"Liam!" I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his hips.
"What?" he was in a fit of laughter at my slightly distraught state. "I stopped tickling!" he held of his arms off my hips.
