Shivaay watched her leave. Rudra could not understand his brother.

If this is how people behave when they love each other than he is better off alone. Shivaay stood there for almost an hour expecting her to walk back saying "itna tadi mat maro".

She didn't come back. Shivaay walked slowly back to his room. Pinkie watched her son walk away like he had the world on his shoulders. Shivaay stood in the same position he stood yesterday with the room spinning around him.

He didn't have to choose between her and his beliefs. She made the decision herself, but had she really. She didn't want him to loose himself, if he lost his principles and beliefs then who is Shivaay Singh Oberio?

Anika walked out of the house not looking back. She knew this day would come, the day he found out her truth would be the last day of their relationship. She watched him walk away from the Pooja when she spoke her truth, she was an orphan. She was not ashamed. She was extremely proud of the everything she achieved. She told him who if she got hurt, she would apply her own medicine. If she was hurting she would wipe her own tears. That was her. She could not stand the look in his eyes when he walked away. When she hugged in in the room, she felt his protection, his caring dare she say his love. But she also understood the battle he is fighting inside. His beliefs which he has built his existence on and her. She knew he would never let her go but he also couldn't turn away his beliefs of naam, khoon and khandaan. That was his wajood. She didn't expect him to ever give away any part of him even if it was his beliefs. She was an orphan. She was abandoned so early in her life that she cannot remember her parents. That was her fate. She whispered "Shivaay" and continued walking on that lonely road that took her further from her heart.

Mahi stood outside the Oberoi mansion gates in the shadows where he belonged. In the darkness. There was just something about this family that had him coming back even if it is was just let look at the gates. He was always the outsider looking in. Even in his own house with ma and Ranveer. Those few days he spent in there was the best of his life. They was something about the strange creatures in that house. Shivaay was one lucky man. Their lives revolved around him. He was the centre of the universe and his mother wanted him dead. Mahi could not let that happen. Mahi saw Shivaay's room light go off , lights off Mahi, just like your lifes motto. Mahi got onto his bike and began to drive away. Mahi was a loner. He had to die no one would miss him. He wondered if anyone would even do his last rites. Mahi picked up speed and let the wind dry his tears.

Shivaay switched the lights in room off. Just like his life he felt darkness. He wondered about Anika was she in darkness. Shivaay saw his mother hovering and that was another reason to switch off the room lights. He walked out to the pool area just yesterday they were happy. Feeding each supper. Being all broken together. Today they broken still yet apart.

Anika made sure she walked where there was light. Shivaay had once said that he was the sun. She smiled sadly – its night and there is no sun in the night and darkness. Your life was feeling that way. She stopped walking she could see her basti down the hill. She fell to her knees and finally cried. She cursed her fate, why couldn't she be normal. Everyone she loved has left her. She looked at her basti down the hill and then looked at the moon and stars. Such a vast difference. Just like her and Shivaay, he was the sun and she was on the ground.

Mahi's tears was all dried now. It was time for his daily session with God. The time where he cursed his fates for being alone. Where he talked and he hoped someone actually listened. As he parked his bike and got off. He rubbed his eyes. He could swear he saw an angel on his hill. Not wanting to disturb this ethereal figure. He walked up slowly to the other side of the tree she was sitting under and looking down. Mahi could not see her face. But the air of sadness around her was identifiable. Mahi silently walked to the other side of the tree and pulled out his mouth organ and began playing. He poured all his feelings into the notes coming out. He was the scum of the gutter. He had no one. He was alone.

Anika heard someone around her. It was time for her to start her new life, this was not a problem that could be fixed. This time there would be no solution and everything back to normal. This is her life, her identity, her existence this was not something that could be fixed. She was a fighter and it was time for her to fight, only this time it would be with her heart. She has to move on. As she got up to leave she heard the most painful yet soothing music coming from the other side of the tree. She sat still not wanting to break the music. It was as if someone was playing for her soul only. As her silent tears fell she realised once again she had no one...she was alone.

Shivaay walked back into his room. He could still smell her scent. Shivaay wanted to run out and bring her back and pretend like this problem does not exist. He wished he could do that. Like all the other times life went on and his beliefs didn't come up but this time he knew he could not do that. His mother made sure of that. Rudra was upset with him. Rudra would not understand his dilemma. Om was busy with his own life. He finally realised that in this big house he was truly alone..
