Chapter 22

In front of everyone Anika stood on toes and kissed Shivaay's cheeks. She looked into his eyes, smiled and walked away. She took her seat on the make shift stage where her haldi was set.

"Now that is tadi "said Saumya to Rudra referring to Anika's move that left Shivaay shocked.

Rudra laughed and put his arm around Saumya "Somu, do you think that is the end of this. Shivaay bhaiya will not retaliate, then you are crazy" Rudra laughed "Anika Bhabhi has just poked the lion some more. Wait and watch, thing are about to get very interesting"

Om, Gauri, Prinku and Ranveer came to stand with Rudra and Saumya. All of them looking at Shivaay for his reaction. Shivaay touched his cheek, smiled at Anika and winked. Om, Gauri, Rudra, Saumya, Prinku and Ranveer all said together rather confused, "What is happening here"?

Before they could ask any questions, Pinky rushed to Shivaay and sent him to change to clothes, it was time for the haldi to start. Meanwhile Jhanvi acted as a mother to Anika began with her ceremony. All of the Oberoi's has surrounded Anika. Ragini was left alone with Samar and some guests.

"Ragini, you are my sister and I love you a lot. I am going to ask you for the last time. Are you sure you want to go through with this marriage" asked Samar.

Ragini looked at Oberoi's with Anika, showering love and attention to her. Ragini knew deep down she would never have that but she did not care, she looked at her brother and said "I don't care about them. Once I am Mrs Shivaay Singh Oberoi, I will become a very powerful and rich woman, I don't need them. Om and Rudra will be the first ones that I will kick out this house and then my so called mother in law, I can't stand her Oh my mata's" said Ragini.

Samar was shocked at his sister, she was always obsessive but this was evil. Samar looked at the Oberoi's with Anika, they did not deserve this. Yes, he loved his little sister and would do anything for her but could he support her in her madness. He had to talk to Anika. They had to stop all of this now. He looked at his sister, yes, she would hurt for a while but she will eventually forget about Shivaay when she finds a new target. Ragini never really loved Shivaay. Anika and Shivaay belong together. He has to stop all of this.

Samar walked up to Anika's make shift stage and stood next to Om and Ru. Om Ru smiled at Samar. Samar had to find a way to speak to Anika now.

"Is it okay if I put some haldi on my beautiful bride" asked Samar shocking everyone. Anika looked at Samar surprised. Everyone looked at each other confused. Jhanvi and daadi told them to leave Anika and Samar alone.

Om and Gauri stood next to Rudra and Saumya, "What is going on Om" asked Rudra confused.

"I honestly don't know Rudra" answered Om.

"Just when we think everything is going to okay, something that we never guess happens" said Gauri.

"But that is Anika Bhabhi and Shivaay bhaiya's relationship. They have never been a conventional couple. Everything about them is unique and unpredictable" said Saumya smiling.

Rudra put his hand around Saumya's shoulders and said "That is so true. Remember all their fights, all that water thrown on each other. Watching them fall in love was the best movie ever.

"Now only for them to express that love" said Om holding Gauri's hand "Let's see how this plays out. After all we are just observers in this love story. The ultimate move and decision has to be made by them."

Samar bent down and put his hand in the haldi bowl, "Anika, we have to stop this. I can't do this anymore" said Samar, "We cannot hurt this family any more". He touched her hand lightly with the haldi and looked into her now watery eyes, "You love Shivaay and he loves you madly, deeply and truly. Love like that is very hard to come by. Anika, enough with this drama. Please can we stop it? I will call of the wedding now and Shivaay will gladly agree and end all this drama, can I go ahead" asked Samar softly.
