you and ethan were out walking in the small town mystic falls. it was known for having many animal attacks, and they were not animal attacks. they were vampire attacks.  nobody knew this besides you small group of friends who were vampires, werewolves and witches.

ethan had no idea, he was completely oblivious to what was going on around him. he found out once, but damon compelled him to forget. he had no idea about your powers, or anyone's powers.

"im so glad we're doing this. i love the grill," you smile at ethan. he smiles back and a loud honk breaks the silence. ethan looked to the side and saw a truck coming your way. he pushed you out the way and let himself take the hit.

"no!" you screamed. you put your hand out and your magic stopped the truck before it hit ethan. the truck went up in the air and came down with a loud bang. you ran over to ethan who looked at you like you were crazy.

"w-w-what did you just d-do? stay away from me!" he yelled in confusion. "what's going on?" he cried out.

"so you are half witch and half vampire, that's impossible," damon's voice says when he exits the truck.

"damon? what the hell is wrong with you! you could've killed him!" you yell.

he smirks in reply. "but i didn't. you saved him, and my suspicions were right. do you wanna explain to me how your half vampire and half witch?"

"what? im so confused. what's going on?" ethan begs.

"shut up, ethan," you spit. "damon, just walk away. i mean it."

"not until you tell me how it's possible!" you begin to get into his mind to give him an awful feeling in his head. he drops down to the ground and then you run over and break his neck.

"did you just kill him? oh my gosh!" ethan begins to run away but you immediately catch up to him due to your vampire speed.

"look! i've been keeping a secret. im half vampire and half witch. okay? it's possible, im living proof. and im sorry i didn't tell you, you wouldn't understand and i thought you'd try to kill me or something."

"please tell me this is a dream," he laughs. "this isn't real," he rubs at his eyes. "this isn't happening right now."

"oh, but it is," a wicked voice says from behind you. it was damon. but how? you snapped his neck. "protection spell," he interrupts your thoughts. "you have good ol' bonnie bennett to thank."

"now," he starts again. "y/n, how about you tell me what i want to know or i'll have your little boyfriend killed. your way or my way." he was now by ethan's side with his hands wrapped around his neck. "you have a choice, y/n. choose wisely."
