I was so pissed at him. Anything could've happened. I looked at the people all around us and they were all glaring at cc. Some even worse than me. I couldn't let them think that cc was an awful person, not after he did so much and even freed me. Freed me. No wonder im so mad. Someone could've tooken me away and I wouldnt be free with Cc anymore and-

"I... I.... really like Cc."
"Please Ashley, stop being mad at me."
I looked up at him and he was looking down at the ground with his hands covering his eyes crying.
"I..i. i honestly just wanted to go shoping with you. I didn't want anything like this to happen."
"Come on Cc, lets just... go" I grabbed his hand and walked out the crowd that was surrounding us. Atleast I knew that i was with him when I was holding his hand. I found a nearby bench and we sat down. Cc was still sobbing and now i feel awful. I made the one person who was nice to me sad. This being free this is so hard when your entire species is meant to be pets.

"Cc please calm down. Im sorry for being so angry at you. It was only a mistake. Please stop crying."

I started rubbing his back. I dont know where or if humans want to get petted at. Its very disrespectful to pet a human but it always made me happy. I got to take that risk for him. I put my hand into his fluffy spikey hair. I started to pet him. He stooped his shoulder down and I wasnt sure if he was crying or laughing. Laughing at a time like this was a bad sign. Please dont be laughing. If he was laughing, that means hes going to hurt me. I wouldnt see why not. I was being disrespectful to someone above me.

"Oh ash why are u petting me?"
He gave me a weak smile his eyes were still red from crying but atleast he stopped.

"I...i...i..wanted to make you happy. Im sorry please dont hurt me."
I flinched.
Im scared because he's smiling and laughing. Hes going to kill me.

"Oh ash." He looked up at me with a big smile.
"Come one buddy lets go shopping."
He stood up from off of the bench. I latched onto his arm. He was taller than me by a lot. I just didn't want to loose him again.

"Hey this is a store I like to go in. It's called hot to--".
"Hot topic!" I yelled excitedly. I dragged him to the dark erie store. I look up at all the bands. I gasped.

"CC COME HERE ITS AWESOME!"
He followed me up to the back of the store and i pulled out a shirt.
"Ashley, YOUR IN A BAND?" Hjs jaw dropped as i shook my head yes.
" And this is Jake and this is Sandra and this is Jinxx and look this my old master Andy." I looked at Andy. I really missed him.
"This one, james right?"
"Jake."
"Jake sorry, is he a neko too?"
"Yeah he is jinxx neko. They're best friends."
I felt the tears start to form at my eyes. I saw a tear fall onto the print of the shirt.
"Aww buddy im sure they miss you too and are looking for you now."

"Hey is everything alright back here?"
A store clerk came to check up on us.
"Oh. My. God. Are you ashley purdy from black veil brides?"
She sounded very excited to see me.
"Uh yeah. Hows it going?"
"Amazing right now. Can i get your autograph." She handed me a marker.
"Umm where do you want me to sign?"
"Can you sign my shirt please?"
I signed my name on her shirt.
"What are you doing dropping off the map like that? All your fans miss you. Im not trying to be rude."
"A lot of things happpened umm. Its kind've personal if you dont mind."
I gave her a weak smile.
"Ok i understand but just please tell them that your doing okay. Because they are really worried about you. Like look."
She took out her phone and went to a social media app. She showed me multiples videos of the guys asking to look for me and how much they were worried. I started to cry. I really missed them.

Cc p.o.v

Ashley looked miserable Poor guy. I can't believe he was in a band. Im sure all of them really missed Ashley. But then if he left. Id be alone again and ashley has really grown on me.

"Do you. Do you want me to help you find them?" I said hiding the sadness in my voice.

"You'd do that for me?" He said with a smile on his face.
"Of course ill help you. You're my friend."
He crashed his face back into my chest for a tight hug.
"Thank you cc. I really miss them."

But when your gone im going to miss you ashley. Why is doing the right thing so hard.
