The next morning I wake up, I see Alex is sitting beside me staring and smiling.

"Morning Diamond."

"Morning Catty."

I see his face shocked, surprised stunned, startled. Okay too many 's' words. But his expression was worth a watch. I broke into a laughter. He had a childish look on his face.

"Alex, I know you miss Emily. I would never be able to take her place, but atleast I could try."

"Diamond, I don't want you to take her place. Cause she has been through worst. And I lost her. I couldn't imagine losing another friend. I had only one friend for my whole life before I met you. Emily was my only friend. She did a big mistake by not telling us what she was going through. Maybe she would have been alive. Suicide should never be an option."

As Alex told this, I remember the day I tried to commit suicide. And I think what if Zac and Ash didn't come at the right time. I would have died.

Ash would have forever been in that dark world of gangsters. I realise how one decision could affect everyone's life. Suicide is the worst decision.

If Emily spoke to Alex she would have been alive. If Ash's mother complained to police or atleast spoke to someone she would have been alive. If I talked to Ash or Zac that day, my friends and Ash wouldn't have to be so worried about me.

Suicide is the worst option.

Alex gets me out from my thoughts.

"Diamond, lets go. I know it's a Sunday. But we don't get a day off from work."

He leaves me at the place where I left my car. I go and pick up Janet and Ash from Morrin's place.

I take a hot shower. I wear my pastel blue leggings and a yellow crop top. I tie my hair into half bun and leave for work.

As soon as I enter the shop my eyes start searching for Alex. I don't why but as soon my eyes land on him I feel happy. As if my heart is doing a dance on Lean On. Okay my bad. He smiles at me and I smile back at him.

"Morning Diamond. I hope you had a good sleep yesterday."

"Morning Catty. Yeah. After days I slept peacefully."

"Woah! Crys, care to explain me what's Catty."

"Nothing Selena. You see he has eyes like a cat. And that's his new nickname."

"Or maybe an old one.", he winked at me.

His wink. It sends a shiver down my spine.

Since it was a Sunday. We used to have work only till 2 pm.

Selena used to leave the shop at sharp 2 pm. I always waited back to wrap up things. Luckily I had Alex by my side.

At 2:15 we left the shop amd waved each other goodbye. I don't know when my instincts took over me, I turned around in an impulse and,

"Hey Alex. Wanna join us for dinner."

"Us?"

"Yeah. I have invited my friends and my sister Cygnet for diner tonight. Maybe you could just join us. You can make some new friends."

"Umm..."

"Come on Catty. I promise you wouldn't get bored."

"Okay Diamond. I will be there by 8. But I don't know your address."

"I will message you. Give me your contact number."

"Impressive. Good way of asking me my phone number."
He laughs at the end of the sentence.
