Ever since our talk everything went back to how it used to be. Bailey still gave me her looks here and there. But ever since Jacob and I spoke she hasn't gone into his office. I was done with the papers he had given me so I was on my way to his office. I knocked on the door, surprisingly he opened it up himself. "Take a seat." He whispered, taking the phone away from his ear. I did as he told me as I just sat there listening to his conversation. "What do you mean? Of course I am. Yes she is." He says, running his fingers through his hair. He looked somewhat nervously about what he was saying himself but he went through with it. "I'll be there." He sighed, ending the call. He leaned his hands on his desk with his eyes closed before he fixed his suit and looked at me. "Are those the papers?" He asked as I nodded and handed them over to him. "I'm done for today Mr. Sartorius." I say, happy that I get to go home early today. "Ok that's fine.". I stood up from the chair and turned around to walk away. "Wait! Y/n, I need to ask you for a favor." Jacob spoke, walking over to me. He stood about 3 feet away from me. "I'm having an event tomorrow night and I want to have someone by my side. An I just wanted to ask you if you'd be willing to be that person." Out of all the girls here, he's asking me? "Like a date?" I ask. "Yes." He said clearing his throat. He looked blushed, he looked shy. "Um...ok." I agreed with a smile. He looked up at me shocked. "Really." He says, with wide eyes. "Yes." He hugged me, "Good, because I've already said you were coming with me." I giggled. "You're lucky I even agreed to this, jacob." I say, hugging him back not wanting to let him go. "I am."
