Your p.o.v
4 years later "Alright are you ready to go." Jacob asks as he walks into our shared bedroom. I ended up moving in with him after he had asked me when we were cuddling on my bed. We were together for about 7 months before he had asked. It was so cute, he was really nervous but he still went through it which I was so stoked about. I didn't even have to think twice before I immediately accepted, an I'm glad I did. I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life. "Yeah let's go." I responded, looking at myself in the full length mirror. I run my hands over my dress to try and smooth it out as I see him walking up behind me. He wraps his arms around waist kissing my neck. "You look absolutely stunning, darling. Now we need to go because I have a surprise for you." I look at him through the mirror with a smile. "Jacob, you know I don't like surprises." I turn around to face him. "I know, but I promise you are going to love this one....I hope." I nodded giving him one more kiss before we headed out to this surprise. After driving for about 30 minutes we had finally got to this little place. I had no idea where we were all I saw were lights around trees. I look over at Jacob, but he's just sitting there with both hands on the steering wheel looking straight ahead. He gulped, "Are you alright?" I ask, setting one of my hands on his shoulder. "Yeah yeah, let's go." He said getting out of the car. He came around and opened my door, helping me out as he took my hand in his. He was shaking. Was he nervous? I brought his hand to my lips kissing it gently. I didn't know what he was so nervous about but I just wanted to be there for him. After our little dinner and Jacob being his wired self he took me up to the rooftop of this beautiful restaurant. "This is amazing." I say, walking up to the edge and look down at all the lights and cars passing by. I looked back at Jacob and he is just standing there looking at me with his hands in his pockets. "You're amazing." I gave him a smile. "Now tell me. Why are you being so wierd?" He walked over to stand by me. "I'm not being weird." "Nervous then. Why?" I ask. He clear his throat, "The reason I brought you here was because I wanted to ask you something." He says, turning to face me. "I've been thinking about this for so long now and I think it's a good time to do it. We are in a good place now in our lives. You make me so fucking happy and I love you to death, y/n. I don't know what I'd do with out you. I see you as the mother of my children. I never wanted kids but now I do, with you and only you. I need you with me...forever." My eyes start to tear. I see him reach for something in his pocket then kneel down on one knee. "Y/n, baby, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me." He says, looking up at me with desperate eyes. I nodded, "Of course Jacob." I say with he biggest smile ever. I kiss him passionately before he pulls away. He takes my hand in his as he puts on this beautiful, stunning ring. It had the biggest diamond I've ever seen in my life. I look at it before I give Jacob the biggest hug. "I love you so so much." I say kissing him. "I love you too baby, always." Never in a million years did I think I'd end up being engaged to my boss.
