*Beep! Beep! Beep!* I woke up to my alarm clock just like everyday. I look at it to find that it was my 30 minute reminder before I had to leave for work. "Fuck! I'm going to be late." I say, throwing the blanket off my warm body. The cold breeze in my bedroom hit me and I hated it but at this point I had no choice but to just hurry up and get dressed. I've never been late before and I know today I'm going to be late for sure. I don't know how my boss is going to react to this because I've never been late. He could be grumpy at times, well most of the time. I just hope he doesn't get angry with me and ends up firing me for this. I quickly pull on a black dress with my heels and head for the bathroom. I brush my teeth and wash my face. I don't have time for makeup today. I took off the braid in my hair that I had slept in last night. Letting my long hair flow down my back. I grab my bag and head out the door. I only have 5 minutes to get there and it usually takes me about 15 minutes and I still have to get his coffee. After I get his coffee and one for myself I see that I'm already 20 minutes late. I rush into the building and head up straight to his office. I hear him talking on the phone so I softly knock. "Come in." He said, loud enough for me to hear him. I slowly walk in, I don't even look at him I just close the door and set his coffee on his matte black desk. "You're late" I sighed, "I know. I woke up late, I'm sorry." He nods eyeing me up and down. He came closer to me, his chest touching my shoulder. I shifted away but he held me by my waist bringing me even closer to him. "Darling, promise me you won't be late again." He softly said, grabbing onto my chin. "I promise, Mr. Sartorius."
