Soooo Pokémon....

Where do I even start?

Pokémon was a BIG part of my childhood growing up tbh. I know the theme song by freaking heart. Shít I might as well have been a Pokémon trainer too. My brother and I watched all the movies, repeatedly might I add, and the show. We had them on VCR. We also had the games for gameboy advance (for you oldies) and Nintendo ds when it came out. And let's not forget the trading cards.

Needless to say we were huge Pokémon fans.

My favorite episodes of the show were the Sabrina episodes in Saffron city with that creepy doll. I totally rooted for Sabrina and the doll btw XD. Oh and I like the ones before when they were on their way to saffron city and they got trapped in that haunted house with the ghost Pokémon.

My favorite movie? Probably Pokémon 2000 with the three legendary, or should I say four legendary bird Pokémon. Moltres, Zaptos, Articuno, and Luigia. I'm not even sure if I spelled those right but whatever

My favorite Pokémon was Evee because she (or he) had so many evolution forms and I always tried to get those special stones so I could evolve him (or her). And some of her (or his) evolution forms were so pretty !

Now let's talk about team rocket.

Omg they were soooo mf annoying always trying to steal Pikachu like damn just capture your own. Like they used to piss me off so badly and I relished it when ash and his friends beat them. I was like yasssss ash whoop their ass.

The battles were fun and veeeery intense, had my brother and I on the edge of our seats lmao. Misty and Brock are my favorite out of all of Ash's friends and I was sad when Misty decided to stay behind because she became a gym leader. But at the same time I was happy for her ya know? And Brock was so girl crazy 😂

But can we talk about how ash never freaking grows up for a sec? Like he should be a grown ass man by now but he's still a ten year old boy. Am I the only one who's just a little creeped out by this?

Anyway I love Pokémon but I'm not really fond of all their new stuff, it's just not the same anymore. Just like all my childhood shows that have been brought back recently it sucks. I miss the old Pokémon. Honestly I'm a girl who enjoys the classics than the remakes tbh. Like I've lost track off all the new Pokémon they have and when I did see them I was disappointed. One looks like a pile of garbage with a face on it. Like really, a garbage Pokémon? Another one is a set of keys with a face and another is like a freaking lamp. Like damn y'all must be running out of ideas if we're making lamp Pokémon now.

Does anyone know the YouTube channel Smosh games? They have the FUNNIEST honest trailers for Pokémon that are so funny, so if you have the time go and check them out, I promise you won't regret.

Oh and let's talk about the games for a minute. I used to spend hours leveling up my Pokémon and collecting all the gym badges so I could fight the Elite four. And I hated them because they always had that ONE Pokémon you could not beat and you had to hella strategize to beat them. AND you had to stock up on hecka potions and pretty much everything because once you enter the Elite four battles you can't get out until you win.

I would like to give the new Pokémon games a try but I'm not familiar with the Pokémon so it'd be pretty confusing for me.
